crisis of conscience
by inbetween inwhen i was fully in, i never even heard of ray franz or his books.. after learning the truth about the truth, what woke me up, was in the first place the inconsistency of doctrine, the missing logic and the bending of the scripture to fit their theology.. personal experiences i took with a grain of salt.
therefore, even though i learned about "crisis of conscience" i did not bother reading it.
personally i did not doubt, that what he wrote would be true, but i thought, it would not help somebody to get out, because, its his personal experience, which proves nothing in the end.

Witness to all the Nations - Re: More stupidity and flunky WT activities.....assisting other congregations with their territories.
by foster inthis good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
" (matthew 24:14) today, that prophecy is in the course of fulfillment on an unprecedented scale.
true, untouched territories still exist, and it may be that in jehovahs due time, a large door leading to greater activity will open.

To me the funny thing is that the scriptures they use about that (preaching to all nations) as well as the "end of THIS system of things" always has to have a connection with OUR DAY. HELLO! Some scriptures may be fulfilled more than once because things (Like the ENDING OF SYSTEMS OF THINGS...i.e. "way of life", "governments" etc) happen over and over throughout history. Jesus and the Apostles were living in the era of the ROMAN EMPIRE...the end of Jerusalem's system (temple, way of life) was about to end. Nations rose against nation in those days too. How did Babylonians ever gain power? There were wars to be fought. Even God's chosen people fought in battles.
But see, the Witness really mean that THEIR Good News will be preached...when in fact, the Good News that Christ brought is known all over the world. More people know of the Gospel (of Jesus) Globally, than they do about a religious Cult called WTBTS or Jehovah's Witnesses...even tho the Watchtower is the most published magazine in the world. (funny how they always BOAST this at meetings)

Welcome.
You're lucky you were not a JW ever. It is a cult...we all know it, but the GB won't allow people to FREELY express themselves. How about that. Such AGAPE. LOL

July 15th WT- Don't Research " False Stories " - Inspired by Satan !
by flipper ini know the poster lost generation made a fantastic thread on this july 15th apostate article, however - i noticed some very powerful points on pg.
17 paragraphs 9 - 11 which weren't brought out that i feel needed to be touched on.
as was brought out in his thread this article told jw's to avoid apostates because they are " mentally diseased " allegedly and to avoid their web sites, not read their literature, watch t.v.

And here lies the PROBLEM. (and I hope many JWs will begin to question WHY? the SOCIETY is so occupied with what could be said of them, or their shady past) The Problem is that the WTBTS is "DESPERATE" to keep its members. It acts in a manner that a stalker gf/bf would. Saying anything...nonsensical things...to keep them/us under their control. THIS crap is insanity. The older I get, day by day I find it sickening that they think they can tell me what to do, think, feel etc. No way. Not anymore. The buck stops here. I was speaking of the July 15th issue...i mentioned some things that my wife had not heard yet and she goes "Where are you getting that?" (nervous about me visiting "apostate" sites) I said "The Watchtower July 15th issue" She goes "Why are you 'going ahead' of the brothers???!"
I'm like "HUH!!! It's on their dayum website woman. Are you serious?" They're all nuts. Critical Thinking is just that. CRITICAL! (as in VITAL!)

I love those arrogant types. I like to say smart-a$$ed remarks on the sly to them. One C.O. visited and shaking my hand he said "I think I'll be visiting you on Saturday for a sheperding call" I said..."Not that I know of" he said "well maybe in service we'll work a street together" I said "If I can wake up on time, I'll be there"
I slept in. People make a big deal of it..."Oh that information was so good. The C.O. talks are so blah blah blah...." I'm like "Nothing new has been said from the platform in a long time." You'll hear the same talks over and over. It's so boring now. Its insanity. You actually learn more about the bible from the Internet than at meetings. (maybe that's why the SOCIETY doesn't want us on here.)

Cool. I plan on bouncing later this year. What's at stake? (Wife = hardcore JW with doubts but will stick it out since most of her family are JWs, 3 small kids all under the age of 5yrs of age....a Mother who got our family into this crazy cult to begin with, a father who is a P.O. well, Cong. Overseer and a brother who said if he ever gets DF'd again he's never going back.)
It will feel weird being in a divided household. I can't see that lasting for too long. She'll probably separate from me claiming "spriritual danger"...another buzzword/option the SOCIETY lets members use that has no scriptual backing, but because it benefits the SLAVE CLASS its okay. I thought the bible said for persons to stick to their "unbelieving" mate.
No more JC hearings for me either. I've been to 3 in my life and its a waste of time, especially since they usually have their minds already made up most time. Oh well. Good luck to you in the future. I'll be joining the ranks soon. lol

Caring what the folks at the Kingdom Hall think of you
by Terry inmistake number one for faders, df'd and apostates: caring what the folks at the kingdom hall think of you.. they are your "friends", right?
sorry to break it to you.
they are not friends.

Amen brother! This is so true, especially nowadays. At least in the 80's to early 90's people did more together. These days you'd be hard-pressed to find a true friend that care's about your well-being. Yet, if you miss a couple of meetings or field service...they become interested in what you're doing with your life all of a sudden. And that's only to figure out weather they should stop socializing with you altogether or if you're still in "good-standing"

Well here's what I learned.... None of those time periods were 130yrs. there was no "flip-flopping" and no one was DF'd for disagreeing. Howdoyalikethemapples?
