  European Court to favor the WT and condemns the French goverment

  this news was announced today on the journal "le monde": http://www.lemonde.fr/societe/article/2011/06/30/temoins-de-jehovah-la-cour-europeenne-des-droits-de-l-homme-condamne-la-france_1543102_3224.html#xtor=rss-3208.

  unfortunately, the european court of human rights has just condemned the french government against jehovahs witnesses.

  if you recall, the french state was claiming 23 million euro (abt 33 million us dollars) taxes on contributions received by the french watchtower during the years 1993-96, which, by now, had climbed to about 58 million euro (abt 83 million us dollars) counting interests and charges.. it is not easy to size the wt.

  Why Do I Desire Fast Food Late At Night?

  i'm a bit of an insomiac, although i make up for it later in the afternoon.. but i've noticed, usually around 1am, 2am and even now at 3am, i feel like some fast food, like kfc or mcdonalds(also known affectionately in australia as maccas).

  the fast food joints aren't open this late at night (except for maccas on the weekends) so it's not like i can go out and get some (or fast food for that matter).

  i do have some food that i munch on, although i'm not going to go to the trouble of making a chicken burger at 2am!!.

  Really, those late night/early morning hours should be a fasting period for your body. That's how body fat (especially in the midsection) is lost. Sleep is the most important part of getting healthy. when you get regular sleep, your body isn't worrying about "eating"/getting energy.

  Although fast-food is good taste-wise eating it that late isn't a good thing. Go for a bowl of cereal, or a slice of wheat bread with some peanut butter on it and a glass of milk. Vitamin D and Protein. Also...if you have trouble "getting" to sleep at night, workout and shower 1 to 2hrs before the time you want to go to sleep. or have sex before sleeping. Both will release good endorphins to help you get a good night's rest

  i've noted on here before that one point that got my attention was the small pool of scriptures that the gb seemed to use over and over again.

  leaving out all the rest.

  whole swathes of paul's werid and wonderful writings go ignored.

  I'd say 12% LOL...they use the same ones over and over again. When a talk is given, you can almost get to the scripture before the bros. say it ,because you know just...where...its...going!

  " book, at the end of page 124 to 125...there is mention of "resurrected ones" of the annointed class/24 elders that may be the ones communicating information to the governing body.. 1. thought we were not to communicate with the spirit realm (scriptural).

  2. does the "may be" mean that they don't even know, really, who's communicating with them?.

  Yeah, but there's a suggestion. Also they've never really said HOW they get this information they dole out. They say "HOLY SPIRIT", but I want to know the "HOW" (dreams, visions, etc.) They've spat wrong info, thus their source must not be the "HOLY SPIRIT" by God.

  Its funny how I never paid attention to that before when we studied it as a group, but I must say...I admit that I was brainwashed. No doubt about it. Now that my mind is open and my eyes see....its amazing how much I/we overlooked. WTF?Indeed!

  my first visit in 7 years

  for the first time in 7 years--i had a call last tuesday morning--hooray!!.

  i was about to leave the house with my wife--when i saw the blurred outline of someone approaching my front porch.. i opened the inner obscure door--to see a young woman with a pram stood there--&--a young man with her was talking to my neighbour over the fence,---showing him a magazine.. i closed the inner door to--& told my wife we had visitors---when i reopened the door--the couple were walking away down the path!.

  so i still havent had the chance to do any anti-witnessing---dohhhh.. .
