you would think that the end of the world was coming how they were calling for hotel rooms.
Rates may be only a LITTLE LOWER than normal, and Parking costs at the hotels (decks) are very low compared to the usual (ex. normally $25per day ends up being $5 for the JWs) depending on where you go.
No doubt the WT has "promised" that these hotels will be booked - guaranteed $$$- at the hotels. Thus a contract is drawn up and discounts are easy to get when you promise all rooms will be occupied for said dates.

a group of 3 elders as trustees could sell the kingdom hall out from under mother watchtower corporation.
spread the money to the community or non profits, or just give it as a distribution to the congregation who paid for the kingdom hall.
The ORG is too strong for that. Property can't be "stolen" that way. They'd be labeled apostates, removed, and the R&F would feel sorry for the GB/WT that those evil apostate brothers tried to greedily steal a KH.
There would be talks of it being the beginning of a "Great Apostasy" happening as we go into this "great tribulation" and that the derailment of it was Jehovah "cleaning his house" and providing protection to HIS EARTHLY ORGANIZATION.
it's best to just say... "fuck'em" and leave them be. If you seek revenge of sorts. Move about with FREEDOM. Go to a meeting or assembly and try to socialize with them. Have a 'worldly friend" accompany you so they can see it first hand...and when they shun you or say mean things...look at them strangely and shrug. If elders want to talk with you, ask them if they mind you recording it, just as a protection to yourself. If they want to have a JC Meeting, and you agree, inform them that you'll bring your lawyer with you and will be recording it. (They'll always avoid it.) If you are FREE, BE FREE.

congregations in the dissolved circuits will be assigned to two existing circuits.
the excuse the letter offered is that people are moving, or that people are retiring and leaving the area.
Similar "restructuring" of circuits going on in Virginia too from what I've heard.
in the u.s. there are fewer venues this year, but they will be held in larger facilities.
as long as i can remember my family travelled no more than 2 hours to attend and in the last few years the dc was local (within a few minutes travel).
this year my family is driving 6 hours to a major u.s. city.
dying to see how UNCOMFORTABLE the MODERN-DAY R&F will be during these outdoor arena Conventions. Excited for now...miserable during the DC, or IC. Guess some of that Vacation spending money will be going to the WTBTS this summer. :(
I see this as the ORG "testing" the faith and loyalty of its members. This may go on for the next 4yrs or so. I'll be out by then thank GOD!
sometime in the early 1990s i made a commitment to myself that if the end did not come in 2014 i was going to walk away.
then i started thinking - if i waited until 2014 i would be 57 years old with very few options.
that is when i realized that i needed to make changes to get my life back.
It means my FINAL year of being an 'undercover' apostate. I shall make my exit this year. I will no longer hide anything when that time comes. I've seen, read, and have had proven to me enough about the ORG - that I need not defend what I've learned or believe now. IT is THEY, the WTBTS that has been UNABLE to PROVE TO ME why I should stick around any longer. Completely unphased!
i just found out my sister in law gives each pioneer $50.00 every month to help cover their gas.
she wont take a .99 cent chapstick from me and when ever i attempt to do something for her she pitches a fit.

I don't give a red cent to the Pios or the KH. I know a pioneer that eats lunch at a store where they give out free samples. The free samples are his lunch.
