what was his crime ?
he had the temerity to lable them as hypocrites, which they are.. later on jlp brought pps previous difficultys to light, a fact most posters here were probably ignorant off.. anyway that guy got such a shafting for telling the truth about what happens here, personally i think he should be applauded, because he demonstrated courage in the face of overwhelming adversity, which should help him with dealing with his difficultys in his work place, if he can cope with the adversities he has experienced here, he will have no problems in dealing with his (secular) workplace.. i have only been here for 8 weeks, and within that short timeframe i already see the group dynamics of our time at jwn unfold, i see alliances being forged, the subtle use of language and samantics as posters here seek advantage and seniority, and want to adopt common ground, to advance themselves as leaders and spokesman, this mirrors my 13 years of being a jw, it seems to me that ex elders and servants display the same characteristics, they employed as jw,s and expect them to work here, which they do.doesnt say a lot about jwn.. anyway a young guy, still learning the ropes, gets anhilated here its not much of a recomendation to post is it, ?.

it's getting to the point where i'm constantly having violent fanstacies about hurting them and recently i actually considered buying a gun.
before this job i was non-violent but they are starting to push me to a dark place.

The guy is in a dark place, and I hope that had this been known to others, they might have been mindfull of that.when replying to the points he raised.
On a sidenote, If your a Brit, and one of your mates made remarks about Guns and getting back at workmates that were pissing you off, you would laugh and probably say, likewise.Because nobody has a gun or can get one.
However if your in the States, where you can pick up an Uzzi with your shopping, that conversation takes on sinister conertations, its no longer funny, and becomes a serious issue.
I think for the sake of balance this point needs to kept in mind when evaluating responses from us in Britain.

Hey JLP, PHILLY got a bit on a Doing last night, got a bit of flack myself because I was supporting Him, I happened to agree with him,( which helps). I remember being supportive of him in his work situation when he posted on that topic, Im afraid He probably felt like General Custer, last night, lets just say it was a challenging atmosphere. It was a , STEP BACK AND LIGHT THE BLUE PAPER topic, and thats how it turned out.
Its a difficult one, because I genuinley think he was taken aback at some of the responses, It made Me feel very aggresive toward some of the posters comments, but sometimes ,if your going to dish it out you have got to be able to take it . Who knows maybey last night, for him, was the straw that broke the camels back ?
Its helpfull that you to bring the possible underlying issues out here, I hope PP reconsiders because if he leaves because of this its really a collective failure on all of us. I think in many ways im at opposite ends of the spectrum with PP, Im natrually aggresive and more than willing to fight my corner, but I wouldnt let any remarks from an annonimous EX JW living half way round the world drive me from here, I hope PP reads some of this stuff, and thanks again JLP for bring this to our attention, Brendan
