Thank you, and thank you for the post. Shame on any JW doctor who knowing the reality of the issue has no courage to speak in honesty. How many JW's even know that accepted fragments and components come from a blood donation? Shame on those policy makers and doctrinal writers, may these people never be allowed to rest easy for the ironic blood on their hands.

The Birthday Paradox:
With just 23 people in a room, there is a 50% chance two people will share a birthday. This does not feel right, sound right or even appear right. But it is true.
The 'Monty Hall Three Box' Problem :
You are on a gameshow, there are 3 boxes, 2 empty and one containing cash-moneyz, you choose one, of the remaining two the host opens one and reveals it empty. You now have the option of keeping your original box or exchanging it for the oher box? What do you do? tic toc tic toc..... does it make a difference?....tic toc tic toc....
The answer is.... there was a 1 in 3 chance of getting the right box initially....
therefore there was a 2 in 3 chance that the other boxes held the money.....
Now you have seen that one of the two is empty.... so now there is a 2 in 3 chance of the money being in the other unopened box......
Your box has 1/3 chance, the other box has 2/3 chance... YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SWAP.
Again, it doesnt sound right, it doesnt feel right, it doesnt appear right, but its true.
Whats the point of my ramblings? The probability of a tax rebate the morning after you prayed to god for money...... what are the chances? Impossible? Feels impossible.... but our gut feelings cant be trusted.
