I rejoice at the continuing progress of limp, passive-aggressive behavior by Witnesses.
Reading too hard? We'll dumb it down.
Field service too hard? We'll make it easier.
That Blood thing? Don't worry, we've got loopholes.
Elders burnt out? We'll do the meetings for you.
In the end, all the hoopla and hype come down to donations. If Witlesses don't open their wallets, that's the end, regardless of other stats.

in the blog http://debunkingchristianity.blogspot.com bloggers john shore, john loftus, and robert price are watching the dismantling of christinaity over the lgbt question in the us.
see the 10/17/2014 post.. coupled with the scandals of the megachurches lately many christians are asking questions for the first time on how things have gotten this way and where is the holy spirit to protect the church and people.. .

"leaving by the droves"?
Hearsay. I'm surprized at you skeptics.
Please post some hard numbers: how many, where, etc.

I do wonder about the 'head covering'. Seriously?
Looking on the bright side, at least they're eliminating vicious mysognists with bombs. This and female Kurdish snipers may have spooked ISIS.
It's a strange world we live in. If sisters wore a head covering, could they direct brothers into parking spaces? Or are penises an absolute requirement?

One company might be able to suppress a disruptive technology especially when US companies dominated the globe but those days are ending.
I enjoy the deft sleight of hand in the above article in trying to attribute progress to GM. While they were busy crushing electric cars in the desert and denying an EV1 to even Jay Leno, the Japanese got alarmed and worked on the first hybrid electric cars.
Kind of like attributing legal freedoms to JW's

I have to laugh when even mainstream sources with considerable credibility get dismissed as if they were fringe information.
The world has known about a fusion reactor big enough to sit on a coffee table - for many decades. (the Farnsworth Fusor). The problem is that no one ever was able to make it practical. At the time, I understand that ITT shut off further research into it.
There are many claims and contenders in the fusion field currently. Who will reach the finish line?
I care not. Whenever someone does, the human race is liberated thereby.

I agree. There have been credible stories about black budget programs at Lockheed for many years. This comes out of an area loaded with security and top secret clearances.
It suggests that some very powerful people have made a huge decision about the world's future. It would not be credible to think that they do not know what disruption will follow if this is real.

There are also claims about a new battery that recharges in a couple minutes and lasts 20 years.
However it happens, I continue to hope for humanity.

careful examination of the .
I've tried to plow thru this "discussion" and I don't understand it.
It looks like a bunch of educated people signed off on a statement saying that they are skeptical that Darwinism explains the diversity of life.
So what?
Do we know if all of these people are theists? Are many of them agnostics? Do they all reject "macroevolution" or do they simply question whether Darwinism is a complete explanation for all life?
I accept evolution as a fact, macro and micro and I don't see any problem with agreeing with pursuing further explanations beyond Darwinism to explain the reality of how life got here. Since "Creation" has no moral or ethical basis evident in it, I am interested in scientific answers, not theological.
And furthermore..... quietly accepting 'microevolution' (what the heck is that?) means that you accept evolution (!!!) and that your debate is all about a matter of degree.
