i don't have anything good to say about these people.. if you can get past all of the ambient abuse.. if you can get past all of the twisted lies and shameful history.. if you can get past all of the familes destroyed and children damaged from the blood and 2 witness policy.. if you can get past all of the real estate laundering and for profit lies; it is all about the money.. if you can get past all of the hypocricy and bitterness.. if you can get past all of the gb megalomaniacs.. if you can get past all those things.. i still can't find anything good to say about this shameful group of ignorant people.. shame on each and every one of you controlling liers.. shame on each and every one of you who aid and abet this continued ambient abuse and ridiculous fraud of an organization.. shame on you..

I believe that the Watchtower History is more embarrassing than their doctrines. No wonder we were trained to ignore and not get in a conversation with someone knowledgeable about our history. They were considered apostate even though they were never JW's.

Examples of WT Corrupt history:

* C.T. Russel miracle wheat sale.

* C.T. Russel marriage separation trial & move to NY in 1909 to prevent his wife from getting alimony.

* C.T. Russels false prophecy regarding 1914 then changed to 1915.

* J. F. Rutherfords vicious, cunning & deceitful takeover of the WT ignoring the founders will & kicking out the majority of the directors. Didn't the majority reflect "God's direction"? Today any elder going against the majority body of elders would be deleted for not submitting to theocratic order. Yet Rutherford did exactly that and he won! Where was God in these matters if indeed he is directing the WT? Whats worse is that the WT accuses these 4 directors of being ambitious and wanting control of the Organization when it was Rutherford who wanted full control & he got it. Then in 1976 the power of the president was rescinded and it was now spread to the Governing Body. That's exactly what the majority of directors wanted in 1918!

* False prophecy of 1925 then blaming Satan for that not happening.

* Rutherfords two 16 cylinder Cadillacs during the depression, his mansion in San Diego (Oh I forgot this was for the prophets David, Abraham, Samson, Isaac, Isaiah)

* Rutherfords vicious temper, drinking and abuse of power as exposed by Olin Moyle & Walter Salters letters respectively. The attorney Olin Moyle was villifed by Rutherford and condemned publicly in the Watchtower and labelled a Judas because he had the courage to stand up to the Judge. Moyle won the libel lawsuit and was awarded $30,000. All Moyle wanted to do was serve God but he got caugt up in a manmade abusive cult. Why isn't this part of the WT history in the Proclaimers book? I have no idea.

* Prohibition against vaccinations as they were evil and then they suddenly became a conscience matter meaning the WT cannot df you for that. How many kids died because of this? WT don't care at all. No apologies given either.

* Rutherfords support of Nazi Germany as stated in a letter or declaration. Only after Hitler refused to dance with the WT did the Watchtower take a firm stance against his regime. Erich Frost (German branch overseer) turned in 8 traveling overseers to the Gestapo yet he is heralded as a hero in WT land.

These are just a few embarassing facts about the WT history. Raymond Franz has many others in COC & ISOCF.

This is too embarrassing!. They criticized other churches for accepting Credit Cards and now they announce it in the assemblies that this option is available. Now ATM's for donations...this is just getting ridiculous.

I had 1 bible study years ago stumble at the meeting when the P.O. gave the local needs begging for money to pay the KH bills and to support the pioneers financially. That same week I have told him that we JW's will never ask for money and we are different from other religions. I was upset but I was naive thinking that we were in fact different. This is just getting to embarrassing to explain away to Bible Students or any interested person.

friend from north carolina, he told me yesterday that they just got a letter that all traveling overseers (do's & co's) age 70 & up are going to be laid off on 09/01/2014.

they will be asssigned to local congregations and further details are pending.. .

Former JW's that were very prominent and you can find their testimonies online or wrote books are:

1. RAYMOND FRANZ - Former member of the Governing body & wrote 2 books demystifying the inner workings of the GB.

2. OLIN MOYLE - Former attorney under Rutherford. He wrote a letter to the Judge regarding abuse of power, vulgar language,

heavy drinking & violent temper of the Judge. His letter can be found by google search.

3. WALTER SALTER- Former Canadian Branch overseer. He also wrote the Judge a letter criticizing his abuse of members and enjoying a

high end lifestyle at the cost of the pioneers whos slaved for "the organization". His letter can also be found by google.

4. EDWARD DUNLAP - Former D.O., former Gilead registrar, former writing dept member. He was a victim of the 1980 witchhunt and DF'd.

Tech49 has the CO over for lunch

so awhile back, during our last circuit overseer visit, vic and i decided to bite the bullet.... there seemed to be very little support for the mid-week lunch plans for the co and his wife, so we signed up to host.

we definitely didnt want it to be awkward, so we invited a few others along, as a nice little group affair.

they were excited, and offered to do the cooking, so i said i would play along.. just some background.... this particular co is kind of a tool (big surprise right?

The Congregation brown noser publishers are at fault for those self righteous, haughty C.O.'s.

They develope a sense of entitlement when the publishers kiss their feet, give them green handshakes and treat them as rock stars. If they were humble and truly slaved for others, they would eat whatever is put in front of them and accept the hospitality given. At least they should keep ther mouths shut about others posessions as the publishers pay the C.O. expenses as car, health insurance etc.

The WT has imposed the C.O.s on the Congregations. They get free healthcare, free car, free gas (the branch gives them a gas card), tax free cash ( a c.o. confessed receiving $500-$800 u.s. dollars a week!)gifts such as electronics, free cable, free food and powerful authority over congregations.When you add it all up they're living at least $45-50k dollar a year lifestyle. No wonder they are company men and will go along with whatever B.S. the GB tells them to do and teach as their lifestyle and authority is at risk.

The figures above are for the C.O's in the USA. It is not the same in developing nations as Jehovahs provides well only for C.O.'s in the U.S. and doesnt care much about those in 3rd world countries.

the whitewashed history of the watchtower society in nazi germany.. the man who became leader of the german branch of the watchtower society after the war is without exception portrayed as a beacon of virtue and faith, standing fearless against the nazis:.

No wonder JW's are told not to do any independent research about the history or doctrines of the WT. They are told only to read what the WT publishes as everything else comes "from Satan and is full of lies". But truth does not contradict the facts or evidence.

The more you research, the more you find out that the WT is just another man made religion with delusions of grandeur. They blatantly lie about their history and guilt people that do not believe in them. I actually mentioned Erich Frost when I would give public talks about loyalty. What a shame.

The Watchtower is more than willing to railroad anyone if it benefits their interest. Erich Frost betrayed to the Gestapo 7-8 District Overseers and replaced them after the ban. Yet he is glorified as a hero.

It reminds me a former C.O. and bethel secretary David Fuentes (www.extj.org). He said the Cuban government granted the WT more liberty and leeway but only if they removed all the current branch comiittee members that served during the harsh ban under Castro. The GB were more than willing to comply and the comittee members were replaced.

What a shameless cult. If any JW dares to question these issues or writes to the GB to get their response, they would be labelled apostate and a troublemaker. So much for freedom of religion & speech granted to the members of this cult.

What's The Worst Scandal You Know Regarding Jehovah's Witnesses?

In the late 90's in a Spanish congregation in Southern California a Presiding Overseer had a nice family, wife & 2 girls.

They adopt another girl in her teens age 15. Lo and behold she suddenly gets pregnant and the P.O. tells the elders that she was raped by her doctor. Since she was a minor, the P.O. did not allow the elders to meet with her to question her about her "rape". The elders being puppets went along with the story and the matter was dropped. No judicial action was taken because she was "raped". Well the baby was born and it turns out she looks alot like his 2 other biological daughters...that was a great coincidence! The Congregation and the whole circuit start to talk.

Two new elders moved in to the congregation and tried to start an investigation into the matter but the teenage girl and the P.O. stuck to their stories that she was raped. One elder adamantly wanted a DNA test to be done to confirm that the baby was not the P.O.'s. The P.O. said it wasn't necessary and the rest of the body of elders backed him up. Since there were no 2 witnesses to their fornication and no confession, the matter was dropped again. The C.O. told the 2 elders to "wait on Jehovah" and that Jesus has the stars (or elders) in his right hand and was guiding them.

The 2 elders then started to be harrassed by the P.O. and his elder buddies for "running ahead and making false accusations". These elders moved and lost their privileges because the letters of presentation by the P.O. and his buddies did not recommend them. This shows how the WT really doesn't give a crap about doing the right thing if their authority is being attacked.

About a year later, the teenage girl finally confessed to the C.O. and both her and the P.O. were DF. The P.O. beat her up for confessing by the way.

The P.O.'s wife divorced him and the teenage girl and the elder ended up getting married! The affair was going on for several years. The elders did NOT call police to report this statutory rape as that would bring reproach on Jehovah's name.

Doing the right thing according to the Watchtower is going along with those in authority instead of following the Bible and your conscience.

"Jehovah ALWAYS had/used an organization". How would you reply?

in a recent meeting with elders, an argument was used to the effect that jehovah has always [= throughout history] used, or operated through, an organization; therefore, the wts must be that organization today, since god must be using one.

naturally, i know what arguments i've used to counter that argument.

but i'm interested in hearing yours.

What organization did JOB belong to? How about:

Adam?

Abel?

Enoch?

Noah?

Daniel? (by the way he would be df for working at a political position)

Joseph? (Same df offense for being Prime Minister of Egypt)

Jonathan (He actually won God's favor for NOT obeying the King in his pursuit against David...today he would be DF by the WT)

John the Baptist (He spoke out against the leaders of his day...he would be df by the WT today for causing divisions)

Jeremiah? (same df offense as John the Baptist by the WT)

You can shut the mouths of the JW's by telling them that J.F. Rutherford did NOT OBEY theocratic arrangement by not following the MAJORITY of the board of directors (AKA GB) as it was 4 against the Drunk Judge and 3 in his favor. He also ignored C.T. Russels will and removed the editing commitee and he HUMBLY appointed himself as the sole manager with full authority. This is one more example of the politics and hypocrisy of the WT. They will speak of obeying theocratic arrangements when it's convenient in their behalf.

However, the Bible can be interpreted in anyway you want to. You can even justify murder, slavery, adultery (solomon & patriarchs) and genocide using the Bible.

steve imhof, a bethelite in the 1970s and former very active elder who became a very vocal wt critic starting in 2002, was 65 years old when he died.

he was father to three children and two grandchildren.

the fact that there are imperfect humans involved in the organisation is very much irrelevant.. .

we all accept, including jdubs, that these men are just men who may think and say wrong things like the rest of us as they go about their own lives.

If anyone dares to question them you will lose your marriage, family and friends. You must accept their arbitrary policies and doctrines that have caused misery and death to countless thousands if not millions.
