  Time for an Intervention

  come this july, i will have been out of the jw's for 20 years.

  and it has been quite a long time since i've really spent any serious time studying up on jw news and doctrines although i do still read here occasionally.

  but after today looks like i've got some work to do.. my first sergeant called me this morning asking for my help to fix his dad's truck as i'm an auto technician in my civilian job.

  People will likely be very polite to her, and to you too. After all this is an occassion where they look for new people, and others they have not seen for a while, in hopes that they can start a study and bring them in.

  Any negative talk will probably be behind your back.

  Of course the elders might want to meet with you later for an explanation, and to give some counsel about being "unevenly yoked" with unbelievers.

  Price seems a little high really...but great information.

  The price was definitely lower before Ray Franz died; I seem to remember paying about $18 or $19 for CoC. After his death new copies became unavalable, which caused the price of used copies to go through the roof at $100 and higher.

  Considering how scarce they have been the current price of $30 isn't that bad, and if it goes down more in the future as Randy suggests, even better.

  Of note, $30 will get you a hard cover of either book.

  the reason i ask, is that if you search the wt publications, you will see that it is spelled with only one "p" over 600 times, but also spelled with two "p"s 600 times.. .

  very confusing!

  any linguistic experts out there that know which it should be?.
