"I was dedicated to Jehovah, not a date." (From the video @ 2:17)Why would anyone who is really dedicated to Jehovah continue to following an organization that is all about dates, always has been, and has proven itself to be a false prophet over and over again?

2017 Convention Video To Be Shown Regarding The 1975 Failure
by pale.emperor inhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=go3arnnsfkk&feature=youtu.be.
no mention whatsoever that it was watchtower themselves that strongly hinted towards this date.
instead they blame those who "put their trust in a date, not jehovah".. let's recap... .

This arrangement is not a provision to allow an individual to care for sick relatives...
Helping people in need is one of the cornerstones and most honorable pursuits in Christianity. It takes a spiritual person to voluntarily look after others who are incapable of taking care of themselves. But in the Watchtower world it isn't permitted if you want to remain a pioneer - only time spent preaching the Watchtower message counts, and is the main marker of spirituality.
Looking at this from a distance now, it is clear just how perverted the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses is.

Lawsuit Settlement Amounts
by Richard Oliver ini have a legitimate question and i am not trying to start a fight.
i keep reading that there were 6 child abuse lawsuits that settled for 13 million dollars.
how do people like barbara anderson or jwsurvey or jwfacts come up with this number?

The guy [Richard Oliver] is trying to find the facts.
No he isn't, he is only trying to defend Watchtower. RO will dole out just enough fact to twist it in Watchtower's favor, but the real facts - the whole truth - means nothing to him.

The only statement that says estimate ScenicViewer is the statement by SilentLambs for the Fessler Case.
Again Richard Oliver has avoided the question which is "Where did anyone claim that a settlement amount is an "absolute fact," which is the term he used but could not substantiate.
I see that RO is now off the site. At least he won't be able to avoid the question again, which is part of his method of argument, and readers, including lurkers, won't be subjected to his flawed and misleading methods of reasoning that are simply designed to support an abusive religious organization, the Watchtower Society.

Your illustration is incomplete. (Said to Richard Oliver)
Yes, his reasoning is almost always flawed. He lets out just enough truth to get a firm hold on it and twist it hard, as do most Jehovah's Witnesses.
[Richard Oliver] has become an unrelenting defender of the indefensible.
That is very well put Steve2.

ScenicViewer I have pointed out where they have stated that these things are facts. And if you based your estimate on something that you have no actual evidence of how can you make an educated estimate of anything.
Again you are referring to 'estimates,' but you are ignoring the question. Where did anyone say any amount was "an absolute fact?" Those are your words, not mine.
I actually asked Ms Anderson, the owner of Watchtower Documents, about this and she informed me she had purchased court documents of cases for her book she was writing and this is how the court-sealed settlement papers were sent to her.
There you have answered your own question - the settlement amount in that case came from court records that were sent to her. Are you saying B. Anderson is lying? If you are please post your own settlement amounts with proof.
Or are you just grasping at straws?
What is your real point, are you saying the settlement amounts were higher than B. Anderson reports? Or lower? Or that there were no settlements at all? What exactly are you after here? If it is to make Watchtower look innocent in the child molesting affairs you are falling terribly short. -

Richard Oliver:
They even admit that it is only an estimate but they claim it is based on previous settlements, but no one knows what the previous settlements are.
You previously stated that it was being claimed "as an absolute fact." Have you, as is your usual technique, exaggerated slightly to make those who oppose Watchtower look incompetent people who make up lies?
Where exactly did the above mentioned (B. Anderson, JWfacts, JWsurvey, and now you've thrown in Silentlambs) state an unsubstantiated amount as an absolute fact, as you claimed?
Your exaggerations don't win you much respect.
Yeah outlaw at least I can speak and don't rely on memes and can't make a coherent argument.
Now I'm beginning to get it.

Questioning someone who states something as an absolute fact to show proof how dare I.
Did B. Anderson, JWFacts, or JWsurvey state a sealed amount as "an absolute fact?" If they did please give references, links, etc.

The Streisand Effect is when you try to hide something and it backfires, causing more people to know in the end than if you hadn't tried to hide it.
Someone took a pic of Barbra Streisand's house and published it online. She fought to have it removed, presumably because she didn't want people being able to figure out where she lived.
At the time of her suit to have it removed the photo had only been viewed a few times and some of those viewings were by her own attorneys, but because of the publicity the suit brought the photo was viewed many thousands of times.
