"Millions Now Living Will Never Die" - a small book published in 1920.
Whose 'fantasy' was that?
my brother ( an elder ) calls me every time he's assigned a public talk.
he believes listening to zoom meetings is a great start, to eventually attending in-person meetings.
the talk is titled : '' reject worldly fantasies, pursue kingdom realities.

"Why do people keep using the words of writers against the religion?"
Are you asking a serious question? Maybe you are being sarcastic.
may 14, 2024. hello brothers at the writing committee.
many brothers and sisters are wondering when will the end come?
we were supposed to live in the last days of the last days as brother lett told a couple of years ago.
Kosonen, you said,
"If it is God’s will, I am sure they will read it."
Since when does Watchtower have anything to do with "God's will"?
They read what they want, and they will have nothing to do with apostates, and very quickly you would be detected to be an apostate simply because you disagree with Watchtower and the FDS. Making sense is never an issue with Watchtower.
Plus, it us WAY too long. I likely agree with some of what you said but I didn't come close to finishing it.
of the 213 moons in our solar system, only ours provides a total solar eclipse.. coincidence?.
Whether it's a coincidence or not, what difference does it make?
if a change in the blood policy happens, who will be more upset, jws or former jws?
i suspect the latter.
when the beard thing went down, jw's seem to immediately embrace it, whereas many former jw's have been brooding about it.. did it take away a pet gripe we had?.
Peacefulpete said "When the beard thing went down ... many former JW's have been brooding about it."
Brooding about it - why do you say that?
Peacefulpete said "Does this change [beards] make you question if you made a mistake in leaving the church?"
Again, why would it? It actually confirms what a tremendously bad religion Watchtower is. It simply changes at the whims of it's leaders - it amounts to creature worship. Why would anyone want to return to a religion like that?
Recent changes absolutely confirm what most of us already knew about Watchtower.
probably everyone else thought of this long ago, but i, being an "independent thunker" thunk of it just a coupla weeks ago.. we all know that since the year zero (on the fredfranzian calendar) the wtb&ts has defied archaeology and insisted that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce, even though the physical evidence shows that 587 bce is a more likely date.
in fact, the book "the gentile times reconsidered: have jehovah's witnesses been wrong all along about 607 bce?
" by carl olof jonsson and rud persson made this conversation public.. it is a difference of 20 years.
Scholar: "Celebrated WT scholars have long championed the date 607 BCE"
Sanchy: Could you please list the the names of these "Celebrated WT Scholars"?
Scholar: The said scholar would like to help you but his understanding is that they wish to remain anonymous akin to the NWT Committee. How can 'Watchtower Scholars' be 'celebrated' if no one knows who they are?
so, i thought i'd start a thread about any beautiful photos of places you've been to, or just beautiful photos.. i'll go first .... .

Thank you Diogenesister!
There are a few places where the Monarchs gather in California, but the Pismo location is close enough to make a day trip of it and be able to spend plenty of time there.
