posted below is an email i received at work.
i immediately forwarded it to our web-designer to find out if what this person says is true.
he replied that it was a scam.
I do computer software design for a major bank, Wells Fargo, and I work with encryption and sensitive customer data issues. This guy is correct that asking people to provide sensitive information on a form that is not using SLL (https://...) is taking a risk of legal exposure.

At the risk of sounding a wee bit anglo-centric...
Nothing matters like the good 'ol USA (even under martial law, apparently). A big, fat ZERO in the growth in the US means many things, but most of all it means THEY ARE NOT BRINGING IN ENOUGH GROWTH TO SUSTAIN THEMSELVES FINANCIALLY.
In business, whether non-profit or not, no growth means certain death. Costs always go up, and if there is no growth in membership, there an be little growth in revenue.
I smell blood. Let's keep whacking away at them!
