in one way i feel good about takeing care of myself and my mother who is on her dead bed in the room next to me.
mom has live with me since 2005 and started to make her journey to the other side on christmas day.

How many decades/centuries before 1914 becomes irrelevant?
by jwfacts inhow long do you think the watchtower can speak about 1914 and have followers think it relevant?
i think for people born in the 1900's, it feels like an acceptable year.
but what about those born since 2000, will 1914 seem like a year of relevance?

Is the Trinitarian view point correct based on this passage-Titus 2:13?

the part in question lies at the end of the passage "...of our great god and savior, jesus christ,".
*granville sharp's rule-when you have two nouns, which are not proper names (such as cephas, or paul, or timothy), which are describing a person, and the two nouns are connected by the word "and," and the first noun has the article ("the") while the second does not, *both nouns are referring to the same person.. this, as far as i know, has been an ongoing argument among trinitarians and non trinitarians for a very long time.

new thinking after reading Collosians
by Honeybucket ini read the book of collosians and now im really not sure whether the trinity concept is completely false.
maybe i need to read non-jw bible to make my decision.
even the nwt seemed to support the jesus was a manifestation of god to help mankind.

At this point in my life I can say I have more questions than answers. I can not say I believe in the trinity, but I wonder, what if the trinity exists a different way to the definition of the WT?
The very nature can produce three identical persons, but at the same time are different. If that is real in the physical plane and natural, why could not it be in the spiritual plane?

It didn't come up to my mind to put it private because I think some of us no longer feel the bonds of WT and we find it easier than others to publish our photos. It's wonderful to be free of that heavy yoke that has been imposed upon us by the organization. It is a process that everyone has to pass to get free, but sooner or later, I hope, we all succeed. Blessings to all.

they watched me as i turned my car around and i think they might have thought that i was going to clip them.
the younger 20 something year old man, raised his hand to acknowledge me as if to say, "hi and thanks for not hitting us".. they continued their s l o w "pioneer shuffle" and i went my merry way..

Curiosity may have made 'historic' discovery on Mars

Place: Washington, DC | Agency: ANIIt seems that Mars rover Curiosity has made yet another profound discovery, but mission scientists are keeping quiet for the time being.
As Curiosity continue its cutting-edge laboratory work on the surface of Mars, inside Gale Crater on a plain called Aeolis Palus, mission scientists are itching to announce a "historic" find, Discovery Newsreported.
"This data is gonna be one for the history books. It's looking really good," the channel quoted John Grotzinger, lead scientist of the MSL mission, as saying in an interview with NPR.
But what is he referring to is a secret for now.
For the past few weeks, rover Curiosity has been busily scooping dirt from a sandy ridge in a geologically interesting location called 'Rocknest'.
Using a little scooper attached to its instrument-laden robotic arm, Curiosity has been carefully digging, shaking and dumping the fine soil grains into its Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM) and Chemistry and Mineralogy (CheMin) instruments.
Recently, NASA announced some results from SAM after analyzing samples of Mars air. Interestingly, clues as to Martian atmospheric history were uncovered. Also, mission scientists announced an apparent dearth of methane in the air -- a result that undoubtedly frustrated many hoping for the detection of the gas that may, ultimately, reveal the presence of sub-surface microbial life.
According to NPR article, Grotzinger refers to the SAM data as being the source of the excitement.
One of the instrument's objectives is to address "carbon chemistry through a search for organic compounds, the chemical state of light elements other than carbon, and isotopic tracers of planetary change," according to the JPL mission site.
If the new data indicate the detection of organic chemistry, this would certainly be "historic" news.
Also, this would back up the Viking landers' likely discovery of organics in the 1970s -- a result that could only be confirmed after Mars lander Phoenix made the groundbreaking 2008 discovery that the Martian surface is laced with perchorates.
Although the focus appears to be on organics, this is pure speculation for now.
