Jesus is his earthly name, Michael is his heavenly name

i know this topic has been discussed before on this forum, but as it goes in jw world we need reminders.. co said in his last talk i can't remember the title in speaking about jesus, that when jesus returned to heaven he resumed his name michael.

jesus was his earthly name.. through the entire rest of the bible after his ressurection not one reference is made about this.

case in point----when jesus oh wait michael pulled saul over and talked to him, he introduced his self as jesus.

If the designation “archangel” applied, not to Jesus Christ, but to other angels, then the reference to “an archangel’s voice” would not be appropriate. In that case it would be describing a voice of lesser authority than that of the Son of God.

The WT should explain then, based on their reasoning , how does Jesus Christ will come down with the trumpet of God if he has a smaller range than God .

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

I saw the complete first season of the French edition "The Returned" on Netflix. I'm watching Resurrection from ABC, hope aren't based on the same novel.

jehovah's witnesses do not accept whole blood, or major components of blood, namely, red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and plasma.

607 vs 587 BC for Spanish Speakers

although i don't understand the language, it seems to far exceed the original in quality.

Disrupting literature carts

i am ready for a little guerilla warfare (no one gets hurt, of course).

but these literature carts in the city need to go.

everytime i walk by its all i can do to keep from knocking the thing over.. any ideas on how to destroy their little stash of paper.. so far my best idea is water, pouring water all over it.

They are instructed not to have Bibles in the carts.

Contradictory Timelines - Do they REALLY think we are this stupid?

so in today's wt, as brought out in another thread, it is the nations that make the declaration of "peace and security.

" yet just a few paragraphs later they claim, in answer to their own question of who declares "peace and security", that the bible doesn't say.. in the very next paragraph they say that angels are holding back the destructive winds of the great tribulation.

to answer their next question as to what those angels are waiting for they say the wait is for the "annointed" to receive their second sealing, referring to a 2007 q/r which says the second sealing is finished only when the "annointed" (including the gb) are in heaven.

WT teaching: Some time DURING the tribulation, but before Armageddon, all remaining anointed ones will “be gathered to heaven” to receive their reward.

i don't think the elders should count any partaker who is not a member of their congregation.

If the elders count all attendees , whether they are in the territory of the congregation or not, then they should also count all partakers.
