I am 29 and when i was a kid they down played 75 by saying it was some rouge brothers and errant COs. Then I learn...by rouge they mean the guy who they made President of the the WT$ Lord Freddy Fraz. I started reading Apocalypse Delayed today....should be a good read.

Convention without a 'Badge'
by IMHO ini attended a convention recently but didn't wear a badge i was treated with the utmost suspicion.
particularly when i arrived during the sessions one day.
the attendant didn't want me wandering off to find a seat on my own.

A few years ago when I went I could just get a name badge at the Literature desk. Then my mom would hand me one of the plastic holders and I was in.

Exudus 7:1 makes moses a demi god....a god to pharaoh. Does that mean it is all polythiestic? Ahh to argue about unprovable things. In the end it is important to remember that Luke Skywalker could totally destroy Harry Potter. Jedi's can take down a wizzard anyday!

The J Dub Culture of Skirt-Wearing
by mummatron inthis is something that has always bothered me.
as a born-in jw i was raised as a little girl wearing skirts and dresses which is clearly quite normal in terms of gender-appropriate clothing.
however, the older i grew, the more i realised that all jw women and girls wore skirts to meetings and when out in fs, but would wear trousers in their everyday life.

I blame the WTS for my love of women in skirts....especially pencil skirts . All of those meetings left me loving a dressed up lady.

I have completed my fade, cards are in a differnt city from where i live, and not where i grew up. Family still in the truth, so i guess the full apostate label to my name would not work, but anything not overt would work for me.....I faded before I got to this site.
