  Suggestion re: Attacks on Bill Bowen

  it seems that we have many new aliases popping up right now.

  all posting attacks against bill bowen personally.. note they cannot argue the facts of abuse occuring but decide to go after one of the faces that represent the whole issue at hand, bill bowen.. it just goes to show how desperate some people become trying to protect their high control religion regardless the cost to children and adult children of past abuse.. i would like to suggest that we adopt the same advice our parent's gave us while growing up as dubs.

  just ignore the taunts, the insults.

  as a mystical christian, i am just as distressed about child molestation as is mr bowen.

  however i wonder about this man's motives.

  why did he choose to handle his row with the witness organization in this way?

  It is YOU who needs to examine YOUR kidneys and motives here. You have yakked your way around in circles since posting. You are not interested in truth or the protection of abused ones. Anyone who is, does not yak their way around in circles. It is not an issue to be side-stepped. It is YOU who is on the fence.

  It is people such as yourself who allow the abuse to continue. Maybe you don't like the whole thing being exposed because, just maybe, YOU are an abuser! Keep it all silent, wait on God.. blah blah blah. How convenient for you.

  Bill is not after 'fame'. He has worked heart and soul to uncover the lies and deceptions that force many souls to live in an agonizing silence. Hilda - you're a boor, and you've NO conception of what the toll of abuse holds over a person. Add to that that it's done in the name of God, or to be kept silent for the good of the congregation, and what you have is a religious organization that abuses, and reabuses. Now if you think THAT is not worth exposing, then you have diddly to do with Christ.

  this policy meets the needs of no child on this earth.

  the group i founded, sons of liberty riders, is taking a kid for a ride on a harley, in pa.. while this may not seem like a big deal to us adults, most of us dont have the same limitations he has.

  ryan has cancer, to the point that he probly wont make it past this summer, if that long.

  when we were asked, by my sister, to grant his wish, we knew it could get big.

  i was really touched by those who responded to my story.

  since posting it however, i have not felt like the strong person those who replied made me out to be.. between posting my story, wanting to post my story at silentlambs, and the pure bullshit the wts is spewing and causing those honest souls who risk and are feeling the wrath of the gestapo to protect victims, i haven't slept; my nerves are on a raw edge; my migraines won't go; i'm on the verge of tears out of the blue; i'm afraid of nightfall; i'm afraid of noises, of phonecalls, of mail.

  i'd kick the crap outa my heavy bag if i had the energy.

  To all of you,
  Your replies have carried me today. It is an incredible feeling to break down in tears out of the realization that people do care. Normally, tears are acid, but today, they felt really, really good. It is easy and natural for me to be there for others and out of experience, easy for me to feel terrified of opening up at these times. But I was more afraid of blood on my arms than blood in my heart, so I chanced it.

  Thank you all from the whole of my heart for catching me, holding me, accepting me, and getting my back. Thank you for not deeming this a sympathy sneeze. I cherish your support. You're all so perfectly special.

  i have 2 cousins (different states, different congs) who got caught fornicatin' and had to appear before the elders.
