Since leaving the truth, do you celebrate holidays, and does your participation in such bring you happiness?
by Stand for Pure Worship ini ask this respectfully, and do so after watching a favorite show of mine's season opener which had a new years storyline.
hollywood tends to make movies and television show episodes centered around holiday themes appear warm and blissful.
while i'm thankful to have never participated in such holidays, i can't deny my curiosity about ex-jws that do celebrate.

marrage and communication
by Butterflyleia85 ini know i'm talking about my bad quality it's cause i need to work on it and be a better communicator.... why do i feel it's loving to 'preach' i don't even no i'm doing it and i am.... i don't no anything and i come across as controlling and preachy to my spouse.

good book that some what helped me is love language book... but again i preach it... i love him and i guess i come across him wrong.

Start listening ... make a consious effort to just listen ... I have the same problem thou ... lol ... and it is something I am working on, one of the suggestions was to listen to people, make an effort not to give your opinion or give a piece of your mind ... trust me it is such an exercise that even your jaw will hurt afterwards ...

it's good music.
some of the lyrics are what you might call 'gay', that is there's some talk about boyfriends, gay bars, and queens and the intolerance the artist encountered as a gay man.

when my friend, the middle child of 3 siblings, was five years old, his mother took him by the hand and led him to the house where his father was having an affair with another woman.
she opened the door to confront her husband who was actually in the act of having sex with the other woman, and deliberately exposed her young son to this drama.. .

The mother was wrong for doing this, but your friend should understand by now that people do all kinds of crazy things out of anger or jealousy sometimes, some even kill their partners, but whatever situation the parents were going through it was not his fault, it was not about him, it was a matter between husband and wife (in that moment she was not being a mother, she was being an angry betrayed woman/lover/wife). Sometimes as an adult one needs to start putting yourself in the shoes of the parents in certain situations, and I am talking specifically for this event not the rest of the stuff. I saw my mom allways fighting with my dad's lovers, I used to judge this behavior but now I kind of understand her from woman to woman. I don't know perhaps if your friend for this event only could see he mom not as MOM but as a WOMAN that was being betrayed in the most awful way.

OMG ... is this person serious? I really think he is just pulling a leg here. Besides following the business model of the corporation, the Watchtower follows the Ford model of selling cars to its own employees. Most of the WT CORPORATION literature is consumed/bough by its members.
