  apologies if this has been asked before, but i couldn't find a thread where the focus was specifically this yes-or-no question.

  reach back in your memories to when you were at the peak of your faith in the religion, and tell me honestly:.

  "did you, personally, believe that non-witnesses would die at armageddon, even if they hadn't gotten to hear the message at all?".

  WT Study Article Nov. 23, 2014--Adam understood "day" to be 24 hours

  interesting admission in today's wt: adam may have understood "day" (as in "in the day you eat from it, you will positively die") to be a literal 24-hour period.

  i don't think the wt has ever said this before; the usual emphasis is that jah meant it as a figurative day, a day from his standpoint which is 1,000 years (and the article does state that, later).. however, if adam understood god's warning to be carried out in a 24 hour period, and god did nothing to alleviate that, then who did the lying?

  actually, regardless of adam's understanding, the question still stands but moving toward an admission of the use of day in that context to be 24-hours only makes the question even more valid.

  The Watchtower CORPORATION speculates too much in its teachings - they don't abide in TRUTH which is JESUS ... so there's the result of adding and substracting to the scriptures.

  at the branch visit yesterday, morris discussed eze.33,about ,how if we do not preach we are bloodguilty.

  i would like very much people who are well informed on this topic to show me a thorough scriptual answer.

  Nope ... Ezequiel was a major Prophet appointed as Watchman for ISRAEL ... of course the Watchtower declares itseld the new SPIRITUAL ISRAEL and everything in the OT and NT is about them ... LOL ...

  As followers of Jesus we are to continue preaching/bringing that message to the whole world. A message of love, hope, grace, freedom, heaven, LIFE.

  All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

  My advise is to get a bible with Jesus' words in red. Read only the red parts. Then see if you find there the obsessions of the Watchtower CORPORATION or if really Jesus backs up that CORPORATION in general. IF you seek the truth, who are you going to believe JESUS or the Watchtower CORPORATION of NEW YORK CITY.

  hello everybody ... came to check on you guys and what the watchtower is up to these days ..wow at that cut out of sparlock ...kind of sad for all the new generations of jw children indoctrinated into that cult with appealing cartoons.

  i know other churches been doing it for ages but can't help think of the hipocresy of the watchtower as these churches were look down for this .... shame.

  The sound of rain makes me fall asleep faster ... I have a little machine with different sounds. Don't fight it.

  To stop intrusive, racing thoughts, put an rubber band around your wrist (as bracelet), pull and hit yourself with it, this will confuse the brain, kind of giving an electrical shock to the brain :) NO KIDDING. I do this anytime my mind goes on auto pilot ... do as many shocks as necessary ...

  Wow ... the JWs would fit perfectly in a slamic nation ruled by shariah law ...

  I have said it before, my mother salivates at the thought of us, her children, being killed in their "armageddon". If she could kill us right now, she would do it. Deep inside her there is this "spiritual madness/siding with their god Jehovah by killing ... I don't know how to describe it, but some of you may get the idea.

  I like to read stuff like this because it validates what I sensed since I was a little child ... I always sensed the lack of love for God's creation they have as an institution ... they make you believe you are loving people while in fact you are hating them ... they call it godly hate or something like that ...

  Just last night I was watching a program about Hitler and the things he used to say (his own voice recorded) ,,, stuff/language that you would hear/read also from the Watchtower Corporation.

  Reading material like that should help us - exJWs - to be thankful to be out and truly if our families don't want anything with us, just feel pitty for them and go on with our lives ... save our souls, mind, sanity...

  this new tract being released by the jws sounds an alarm!!!

  the tract at first glance does not look religious at all!!!

  it looks like political information, you have to almost search for the one scripture cited.

  No kidding. I have never seen an invitation like that.... Are they preparing the world for the Antichrist? You know they claim Jesus has been invisibly reigning for 100 years, now it is the time to show him to the world. They will select a member of the board of directors and present him as Christ. Remember JWs must believe it even if it seems totally loco. The world will just follow under evil spirit. Lol. remember I said it first.
