How many JW pedofiles do you personally know?
by oldlightnewshite ini was just thinking that out of the 200 jws that i actually know, at least 4 of them to my knowledge are pedophiles.
i know for a fact, through personal confidences.
that means, as far as my circle of jovo friends/acquaintances goes, 2% of them are kiddy fiddlers.. without mentioning names or details, how many do you know of for a certainty to be pedos, and what percentage does it work out at, considering all your circle of jovo friends?.

The Sandusky Scandal's Possible Impact on the WTS
by Quendi ini hope the powers-that-be in brooklyn are paying close attention to what is happening in state college, pennsylvania with respect to the hideous pedophile scandal at penn state university because it speaks directly to their own handling of pedophilia.
here is a news release about the matter:.
state college, pa. (ap) -- penn state's investigation into the jerry sandusky scandal concludes that the administrators who fielded a 2001 complaint about him created a dangerous situation for future victims by not reporting the matter.. the freeh group's report issued thursday said that in order to avoid bad publicity, president graham spanier, football coach joe paterno, athletic director tim curley and vice president gary schultz ''repeatedly concealed critical facts.''.

Sometimes I wonder why the FBI doesn't act on the WTC with the claims from silentlambs that they (WTC) have a list of more than 20,000 pedos in their ranks ...

"Penn State's most powerful leaders showed "total and consistent disregard" for victims of child sex abuse and failed to protect children, according to the findings of a long-awaited internal review over how the university handled a scandal involving its former defensive coordinator."
Sounds so familiar

Been there, happily divorced for a while, married to a great man now.
Marriage counseling or one of the two need to have the courage to start the divorce proceedings and hopefully part amicably. In my previous marriage I was the one with the courage to ask for divorce, it surprised me that he didn't try to retain me or begged me to stay ... LOL ... not that I was wishing for that, but he was also unhappy and him not trying to fix things up really was such a blessing ... I was emotionally gone gone gone from that marriage ... we were at the point of him yelling at me in front of my children and forcing sex which felt like a rape afterwards (it took me a while to get over that) ... I draw the line in the sand when my then 3 years old daughter stood between the two and yelled STOP then she came to me to give me some love (she new that mommy was being abused) so I promised myself right there than I would never allow that to happen again. I knew I made the right decision when I heard my daughter telling my son that I have left dad because he was yelling at me too much ... then she told me that she remembered how daddy yelled at me. She understands why I left. My kids are teenagers now and thriving. They have two happy parents now.
There is life after a marriage and if you put the children's interest first, everybody will be okay. Listen to what your lawyer says as far as which battles to fight, listen to the Judge, listen to the family counselors, trust me they have dealt with hundreds of cases and thousands of people; and even if you think "justice" is not being done, everything will balance out with time. Read as much as you can about divorce, and remember once a couple with children has decided to end their marrieage IT IS NOT ABOUT THEM ANYMORE, IT IS ABOUT THE CHILDREN .. how they are going to part ways without crushing them. The damage can be minimize if both of you are grounded, and the sooner the better.

What does faith mean to you?
by exwhyzee inwe all memorized the definition of faith... faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for...yadda yadda.. it seems like more and more as time goes by and our scientific knowledge base grows, we need less and less faith and fewer things can be attributed to god.. do you think we need faith or is faith just a word we use to feel ok about being too lazy to keep looking for the answers ?.
what does faith mean to you now?.

There is faith and there is biblical, spiritual Faith which is a fruit of the Spirit ... so in order to have the later you need first to have the Spirit. This is a very interesting topic that every Christian should study and research in the bible.

Latest convention brochure on,,, the Governing Body
by cedars ini've finally get my hands on a pdf of one of the two newly released brochures, this one entitled "who are doing jehovah's will today?".
here's a link so you can download your own copy.... http://www66.zippyshare.com/v/98881625/file.html.
predictably, the brochure is extremely vague on key topics.

Who was the Governing Body before the JW's came about? By there logic there should always have been one.
The JWs before were indoctrinated to respond that there were none - and the period of their none existance is called the Dark Ages (Oscurantismo in Spanish). No kidding! This is what I remember JWs say in Latin America. They may say something else today.

As a Christian now I know how to spiritually wait on God, based on His promises, His Word, NOT to try to put things under the rug to protect a CORPORATION ...
As a Christian now I now that I need to wait on The Lord BUT at the same I need to take action, knowing that He will bless all my efforts towards reaching any goal or solving any problem.
It is all about faith, but faith which is a fruit of the Spirit ...
As a Christian now I have great testimonies happening in my life ... AMAZING things ... the more I wait on LORD and do my part ... the more I learn about Him and his timing, which is not my timing ... as a Christian now waiting on the LORD has a different meaning ... it is waiting with assured expectation and joy!
Yes, Wait on the Lord, oh my soul ....

How do you like Joyce Meyer?
by Iamallcool ini just do not care about her at all, but i was wondering what do you think about her?.

She was one of the first preachers I started listening on TV, then I went to see her here in Houston. I like the angle from where she takes scriptures to engourage people ... especially since my niece can relate to her for the sexual abuse Joyce suffered ... in our case (my niece and I) Joyce was kind of God sent to us ... it is hard to explain but her message was right on during my niece's most difficult times ... each minister and ministry is different ... no one has the same call. I never shared in the hatred the WT instill in its followers for other ministries or ministers, I remember my mom calling TD Jakes "fat pig" ... I was still a JW back then ... one day I was channel surfing and I heard him talk and I was impressed at his message to empower women ... these days I listened to any good sermon on TV ... I wish I could have had all this bible based motivational stuff while I was growing up ...
