Omg! Seriously. They end the letter with "WE love you all very much". . . So personal....Now they will not only take the place of Jesus, but little by little that of the Heavenly Father...watch and see. AND yes, where is Jesus, the head of the Christian church..to whom The Father has appointed over Everything in heavens and earth?

kindness of Jw's
by d inwe got a call from a jehovah witness and they were willing to help shovel our drive way.
i find it strange how these jw's take an interest in our welfare.where as others could care less.
so i realize not all jw's are bad.if only more of them take a geuine interest in others they would not be so bad.

Brazilian waxing and JWs

lol i can see sister a telling the elders on sister b ... lol... i wonder what scriptures they would use to make their point across ... i know that for non-jw this would sound totally crazy but as an ex-jw i know that this is totally possible ....

Lol...according to my relative it wasn't that bad, what was so funny is that we went for the complimentary underarms waxing, then with the savings she went for bikini line and somewhere between the front desk and back room she upgraded to Brazilian because it was half off...I was like seriously. omg, I have been laughing a lot since last night when I saw her walking funny.

LOL! I was thinking about this b/c yesterday one of my relatives was having this done ... I think the JWs would also have a problem letting someone else NOT your doctor, wife or husband seeing your privates or naked body .... LOL .... can't stop laughing ... it would all depend on the kind of congregation you go to or the person you confide.

Interesting moment on subway today & other thoughts
by sd-7 ini was heading home today, and i saw one woman reading a new world translation.
we made eye contact, but i hope i didn't glare at her or anything... since i was already having a bout with depression today, it didn't help to see her.
so then she gets off the train, right?

My Dad's story
by coffee_black infreedomlovers post about her dads letter got me thinking about my dad, in fact, it sounds like it could have been written by my dad.
every once in a while it really hits me that he is no longer here to talk to.
unlike most of you, i wouldnt have been afraid to approach him with questions or doubts.

In my case, it took to read the bible for what it is by myself, no Watchtower books or magazines, only the bible. Surprisingly I discovered that all those concepts where Watchtower CORPORATION based their teachings are not really taught as such in the bible. For example If you read the NT you don't end up with the idea of a paradise on earth, it is all about JESUS, become like him, Grace, and that as believers we have awesome rewards in heaven!
The bible became a living book for me ... awesome experience and I get to know Jesus, and also my Heavenly Father, just like Jesus said, He is the way to the Father NOT "Jehovah" ... that personal relationship that one gets to develop with the Heavely Father, our Abba, through Jesus is supernatural ...
We all know about "God", "Jehovah", "Jesus" but like one of Jesus' followers felt, that's not enough, even seeing Jesus in person and witnessing his miracles he asked Jesus, show us the FATHER and we will be satisfied ...
