Not with all the latest rubbish they have been spewing in their mags, to the point of removing Jesus as a mediator between God and man.

Do JWs have a biblically normative relationship with Jesus christ?
by Vanderhoven7 ini would say that that would be impossible...given that jesus christ is simply an angelic being in wts eyes.. jehovah's witnesses have about as much a relationship with the angel gabriel as they do with jesus.. and, no...tacking on the name of jesus at the end of a prayer is not evidence of relationship..

Who is the Mighty God?
by s-c-3-1-3 inisaiah 9:10 says, for there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder.
and his name will be called wonderful counselor, mighty god, eternal father, and prince of peace.
in the next chapter, however, jehovah is described as the mighty god: and it will certainly occur in that day that those remaining over of israel and those who have escaped of the house of jacob will never again support themselves upon the one striking them, and they will certainly support themselves upon jehovah, the holy one of israel, in trueness.

Revelation 1:8(KJV) - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Here we see Jesus referring to himself not just as Almighty but also Alpha and Omega.
So the question is
1. Can there be 2 almighty?
2. Can there be 2 alpha and omega? since Jehovah is also Alpha and Omega.
John 1:1(KJV) - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
but in John 1:14 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
So from this we know that Jesus is the incanation of the word (in flesh form)
GOD = WORD (Jesus in flesh)
So until Jesus became flesh he was the WORD of God which is equal to God. His authority has not chaged even though his status is now as that of a Son (the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

What does "everlasting life" mean?
by N.drew injohn 3:16. i'll just say that the way i understand it is i am existing in it, it is not existing in me.. 166 (ai?nios) does not focus on the future per se, but rather on the quality of the age (165 /ai?n) it relates to.
thus believers live in "eternal (166 /ai?nios) life" right now, experiencing this quality of god's life now as a present possession.
(note the gk present tense of having eternal life in jn 3:36, 5:24, 6:47; cf.

The everlasting life that comes from having the son is getting to live forever without dying, remember that man was formed from dust and the only way to live forver in this condition is to have a supliment in this case the "Tree of life" which was in the garden of eden. Without eating from the tree man is bound to grow old and wax old like garment no matter what. That is why adam and eve did not die immidiately they sinned. The process of death begun from the time they ceased to eat from the "Tree of life"
Genesis 3: 22 (KJV) - And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Here we see that adam and eve would have continued to live forever after sinning if they had acces to the "Tree of life".
Until the time of Noah men could live for very long periods of time(800 years +) even though they evetually died, this trend stopped after the very sinful nature of the people in Noah's era caused God to flood the earth.
Now we see Jesus Christ who was(WORD- John 1:1) and still is(WORD INCANATE- John 1:14) the life which was in the "Tree of life".
So it comes down to when people are really going to eeat from the tree. From the scriptures we know that Christ is going to rule for a thousand years and there are going to be humans who would co-rule with him during this period of time, that is why Christ(being the life in the tree) would sustain them until that time is over.
Again in revelation,
Revelation 22: 2(KJV) - In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
We see that the Tree does not only sustain lives but it heals too, it makes whole from all infirmities cause by sin.

@Truthseeker1969 : 1 Corinthians 11 : 23 - 34 (KJV)
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
Every christian is entitled to eat the communion, not just some elect few, though it should should be in an accepted manner.

@Terry : I challenge anybody to answer this question: Why would a name as important to pronounce as JEHOVAH'S WITNESESS claim YHVH is- become lost in the first place? If god used supernatural means to supposedly preserve the bible (I contend He did NOT) wouldn't that apply to His Name as well?
Acts 1:12 (KJV) - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Hebrew 12: 2 (KJV) - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Christianity is all about salvation through Jesus only, the JW's are just as deluded as the catholic church. They are not christian.
That's a load of crap. ALL RELIGION including the Watchtower's version is, strictly speaking, SUPERSTITION.
This is where you err, for someone who thinks all magic is trickery i get the picture. There is nothing like superstition in christianity. Unlike you we believe there is a spiritual aspect to the world we live in, and not just christians do.
Perhaps there are ways by which you can experience said spirituality, then you would understand. JW's dont have a clue about spirituality too, that is why they are so messed up.
And saying the calling of the divine name was superstition is insane.
Exodus 20: 7(KJV)- Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
This and other reasons, like how the Isrealites had to go throught the priest with their petitions and request to the Lord so they had limited use of the name. And they were thoroughly knowledgable about the result of messing with the name.

@OP: Try searching the phrase "Jehovah's witnesses" in the entire bible and see how many instances you can find in it. The JW's practically forget that the Isrealites are not the only descendants of Abraham. And since it was Abraham that was given the promise its only logical that we can get to recieve it through him, that is why the bible says we(christians) are descendants of Abraham through Jesus Christ.
Acts 1: 8(KJV) - But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
These are the words of Christ himself, and yet the JW's go over it and claim witnesses of Jehovah.
Isaiah 43 : 10(KJV) - Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
This scripture in its entirety was meant for the Isrealites, and there is no justifiable way to conferr it on themeselves (JW's)
before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
This show clearly that the is one God, one Almighty to be precise , though there be other gods by their own power and authority they can only be one almighty.
Genesis 17: 1(KJV) - And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Here we see Jehovah being almighty
Revelation 1 : 8(KJV) - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
again Christ is saying in revelation that he is Almighty so the question is can there be more than one almighty? certainly not. This is clear when we look at John 1
John 1: 1-5(KJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Here we see that God is equal to His word, which means
God = WORD , but then Jesus christ is the word incarnate ( in flesh). What more can be said ?

@N. Drew : well i was not talking about wealth here, i meant the bible and Jesus is all i need to live a true christian life. I am saying this because most people seem to depend on the church/leaders rather than Christ/bible, that is why many christians/JWs get misled, fooled.
