  has it ever occured to you to think about doing something nasty towards the elders of your congregation after being disfellowshipped?

  do you ever get ideas about getting even with them?

  I'm grateful to be out. I'd love to publicly show them up for the child molester protecting b******* they are, but at least I know the truth.

  My letter telling them off for protecting my father has been seen by at least 2 bodies of elders.

  Wow...we were never allowed to accept Christmas presents, and the Red Cross was always "evil." *shakes head* They even told us we weren't allowed to go to a thrift shop in the area (we were very very poor) because some of the donations came from AmVets.

  i was just thinking.

  since christmas is about the birth of christ, i know dec 25 was not his birthday, probly born around late sept or early oct. i guess he wanted to be born right before the baseball playoffs and world series, just kidding.

  it was the early christian church that appointed dec 25th.

  for those of you trying to sneak out the back door without being dfd or dad...and plan to do holidays, please remember that the jws are tightening their grip on detractors and those who think they can leave without consequences and they will come to your door christmas morning to try to catch you!

  i have heard of this countless times since leaving in jan 97. keep everything that might incriminate you away from the front door!!

  well, kids, it's that time of year again!!!

  the time of the year when the rest of the western world slows down just a little, gives thanks for what they have and stops bitching about what they don't have, and thinks of lending a helping hand to their neighbors a little bit more....you get the idea!

  I had started giving to charities in the last couple years of my JW time. I just didn't tell anyone that I did.

  I hate how they twist everything around so they don't have to give money to anyone who isn't a JW.

  I gave them to my sister, still a staunch JW. I was leaving the country and needed to get rid of a bunch of stuff anyway. I kept all my short skirts that I had been secretly wearing.

  I so agree with Aztec. GRRRR! And psychiatrists/psychologists so often say that sexual predators CANNOT be rehabilitated.
