could a parent put in a complaint to the school district and request that their child be transferred out of my classroom because i am exjw?
if they give me the jw school brochure (do they still do that?
sorry its been 16years since i've been out) can i just tell them i'm familiar with their teachings or should i just pretend i'm new to their teachings?....i'm a freshman in college so i have still a long ways before this situation is presented, however i"m trying to get prepared for it.
Forget about it completely. Never bring it up.
If you try to be reasonable and bring it up even one time....EVERY JW parent who knows will tell others. It will be what "defines" you and not your teaching ability.
Separation of church and state can be your amswer if anyone ever challenges you on no thaving mentioned it.
i keep hoping and doing searches on the site for people in my area.
so far no one i recognize.
i have a few df'd friends that i lost touch with long before they were out (two who were elders actually when they got the boot) and would love to find out they were on here, but don't know if they plan on coming back.
No but I would love too. That would be so nice I would think!
the assemblies would be get better results and get more people to come and be inspired if they were more encouraging.
instead the assemblies are a giant guilt trip.
don't go to college, don't get a good job, dont buy things even if you can afford them, don't play violent games, don't flirt.
I couldnt agree with you more kneehighmiah!
I guess the mindset it is all tied in to the "urgency" of the time of the end.....you know....
the one that isnt being talking about so much anymore.
lots of leaflet campaigns this year.. 1. leaflet campaign to invite people to the memorial.
2. district convention invitations.. 3. campaign to advertise jw.org in august.. .
doesn't leave much time for conversations..
So is this any way to mark a hallmark year?
.
is it the pedophile thing, ngo, generation change, blood issue?
what do you think it is?.
I think it is the elders.
they are poorly reguated and not well trained and they ride roughshod on the flock. Being "handled" by renegade elders is what opens eyes. Not just their victims but also onlookers eyes as well.
So yes, I will say elders. They are driving people out as fast as they are coming in.
please make one sentence each from the following sets of facts:.

Freckles, red hair and 10 years of living all riding a blue 3 speed Schwinn he got for Christmas.
Upon leaving high school, Mary stuffed her long red curls under a cap and hailed a cab home to Maple Way.
Sorry CC, I have no idea if my nouns are modified correctly or not!
