I know my family are diehards - they would be the last man out for sure...
but I am glad to hear what others are getting as feedback.
I was reading over on a pro JW site and one person said they didnt think this was much for a big meeting and there was not any verbal support but no one could say the poster was wrong either!
For a fair sized website its got very little posts on the subject.

The only thing saving them is the real estate deals that were very smart. I guess that is why they are focusing on that still. Buying property and using free labor to enahnce it. Hold it and flip it is all they really have financially.
so, how many times have we heard this expression (or a variation of it):.
"jehovah's spirit seems to be blocked here in the congregation...perhaps he is bringing something to light...etc".
it seems that the org often uses this expression, and links it with the "fact" that god wont bless a cong as much,(or at all) if there is "stuff" or "sins" being carried out.. so, why is it then that the cong i am in is experiencing its best years of activity in all aspects?
In any small town or a group religious or otherwise, there is always "stuff" going on.
This magical method of predicting the Spirit being complicit or not is just that = magic
i will have plenty of "snark" to post later on, but please indulge me while i get this out of my system..... suppose you are the leaders...yes, the leaders...there are only 7 of you...for the one true religion in all the universe.. jehovah the god of the whole universe speaks to you, you alone, out of 7 billion+ people on teh planet.. you have an opportunity, thanks to the advancements in technology, to speak to 750,000 of your followers "live", and another 750,000 or so within 24 hours.. 1.5 million people!

this is the first time in history you can simultaneously, or nearly simultaneously, address so many of your adherents.. what message are you going to present for this special occasion?.
I heard of one Hall where some young wives and some young single brothers approached the elders right after this meeting.
The wives wanted to know if their husbands could be MS's
The young men wanted to throw their hat in the ring to apply (tongue in cheek here)

(which is in direct contradiction to the zone talk that said Jehovah does NOT understand inactive people and views them as having blood on their hands)
im sure by now most of you are familiar with anthony morris talk from this weekend.
im even seeing memes posted all over instagram from jw mocking it.. here is my question, why are the things written so different from how the gb members, like anthony morris are?
i know the gb dont actually write the stuff but i was under the impression that they come up with the spiritual light pass if off to the writing committee and they put it in the publications.
