Thank you everyone! I do not know if I made any progress with her. She is so damn ignorant! But I will keep trying! -

To all JDub lurkers: How can you continue to preach knowing that you are telling lies?
by macys inthis is a damn serious question.
you must know by now that jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 bce and that 607 was initially picked by ct russell by using his "pyramid scheme" measurements.
there is no hiding these facts yet you continue to preach this nonsense.

I mean seriously. This is a damn serious question. You must know by now that Jerusalem was NOT destroyed in 607 BCE and that 607 was initially picked by CT Russell by using his "pyramid scheme" measurements. There is no hiding these facts yet you continue to preach this nonsense.
How about the teaching of the "overlapping generations?" You can not be serious!
On those two fundamental doctrines alone your whole belief is in the trash. The list I was thinking about is actually quite extensive but for the sake of time I just mentioned these two huge problems.
And you claim to worship the "God of Spirit and Truth?" Are you f*cking kidding me?

Assembly Hall selling HVAC machines
by StarTrekAngel innot going to disclose a whole lot of details because it will implicate someone else without their consent.
someone very close to me, who is a non-baptized publisher (for almost 3 years now), went to work to the local assembly hall.
recently, they removed the existing hvac machines and replaced them with new ones.

I remember they did this in my old hall with the AC. One of the brothers was a AC guy and he said they should be replaced after 5 years of use because of mold. The cost to replace them was more than 20 G's.. I said to my father I could buy a new car for that! Nice quick profit for him. And yes he was an elder! -

The disappointed look on a Jehovah's Witness face - that you're living a good and fulfilling life
by jambon1 inanother thread got me thinking of this issue.
i don't think you'll ever come across a set of people with such a skewed and twisted outlook on life.. my memory serves me well when i recall a sort of blood lusting excitement over things like the 9/11 atrocities.
in fact i remember jw's describing the event as 'sad but exciting.

Great post! I agree with 100%. I remember when I was a young JDub and we heard that someone who left "the truth" screwed up their life everyone was happy. We were celebrating their demise. How loving is that? Typical JDub hypocrisy you do no realize until you are free from the mind control! -

I almost died laughing at the meeting last night. OMG WTF is going on? Have I been away this long?
by macys inok so most of you guys know already that i am going through the reinstatement process for my parents but i do have a partially sinister plan which i will not mention here since someone told me that there are b-lites that read boards like this.
last night and it was the funniest experience i have ever seen.
besides that the brother doing the sound and video screwed up the whole thing when showing the videos and it took 3 brothers to fix it after 10 minutes, the whole thing was a joke.

darkknight I also saw at least 3 other inactive/df people there that I knew from years ago and the hall was packed so I guess everyone did go. To see the show! -

Hi Kaik I have a lot of family in Sweden and Germany and they whatsapp me everyday with all kinds of things going on over there but that is almost never on the mainstream TV. What they do is wait until it goes viral on Facebook or Instagram and then they will squeeze it in the news for like 30 seconds as if it is not important at all. Downplaying is getting really scary. My aunt who lived though the DDR in east Germany said it feels like the way they controlled the media and everything was edited for the public to portray what the gov wanted you to see. Not the truth. Sounds like the JDub cult! Sanitized history. Sanitized brains. Sanitized faith. That is what I see now. -

Ok so most of you guys know already that I am going through the reinstatement process for my parents but I do have a partially sinister plan which I will not mention here since someone told me that there are b-lites that read boards like this.
Anyways, I went to the C.L.A.M. last night and it was the funniest experience I have ever seen. Besides that the brother doing the sound and video screwed up the whole thing when showing the videos and it took 3 brothers to fix it after 10 minutes, the whole thing was a joke. Once they got the videos to work, I was expecting real like videos, not silhouettes!
I was thinking this was nothing but another cost savings move. Why? Because doing the syncro for the voices in 100 languages is easy. Second filming real life on a set is costly. Third even cartoons are costly to make. Cheapest way? A low resolution silhouette! It was embarrassing.Next thing they will have us close our eyes and imagine the demo in our heads!
The bible reading was just as boring. The brother doing the reading could barely read. I think he was one of those people who didn't finish school. It was that bad.
Skip the boring as hell "book study" and move on to the best part, the new song! Now I heard a few seconds of it before on YouTube but this time I really got to hear it in full. It is as if Jurassic Park and an airport calypso band made a song together! It was embarrassing but so funny I almost peed myself laughing so hard. I was in tears. I am still laughing because like a bad commercial jingle that gets stuck in your head I hear it all day long now and then the mental picture of the dancing!
This hall is very mixed, many black and spanish and they were all kind of dancing to the beat! I am not kidding. I was like WTF is going on? I got to glance around and the attendant in the back was watching them as well and he was laughing with another brother. One elder was not laughing and it looked like he was planning the next local needs part in his head, "No dancing to Kingdom Song 143" It was a circus. I was thinking the JDub cult is moving towards mainstream now as a ploy to appeal to other people.
I always found the black halls to be more "warm" and joyful than the all white ones which are more serious but this reminded me of one of those baptist churches where they all get up and start dancing and singing and praising Jesus! Next thing we will know is hand clapping and live music! Seriously not what I was expecting, but very funny in a comical way. NE ways I just had to tell you guys about my experience. I thought it was so funny. I hope they make more funny music like this!

Hey Bangalore I like TOTALLY agree with that statement!
I was always "left" or whatever you want to call on many, many issues now but have shifted to the right middle right on more topics than before. Maybe my boyfriend is having an influence on me. Maybe it is my maturity. idk really. Well whateva. All I know is that there are two issues very close to my heart right now and on both I agree with the "right" and we can not continue down the same path we are going on. We can not!
Hey parkave Boy welcome to the board in case I forgot to welcome you! Read my bio! I think we have a lot in common! Send me a pm if you feel like talking about your story.
Just wanted to tell ya that video was really upsetting to me. This topic is very close to my heart (read my posts about the Paris attacks you will know what I mean) and I am no longer supporting the Democratic party for this very reason. How can they openly support and defend letting millions of people from a religious background that HATES HATES HATES our sexual preferences into our country and expect them to fit right in nice and cozy????? WTF?! Paris, Cali, Cologne??? What is next? My BFF who lives in Hamburg said that what happened in Cologne also happened in the Hamburg train station on NYE but to a smaller extent and that she is frightened to walk alone at night now. Only a few years ago she said it was a different feeling. She said EVERYONE is talking about it and what to do about it.
Hey memphis I agree. Someone like me is very "left" on social issues like gay rights but I am very "right" on other issues. But we need to rethink the direction of this country.
