I see it as a disease, because it is a genetic disorder, other genetic disorders are classified like a disease. It's addictive behavior, these people basically can get addicted to anything, it's part of they gene make up. That's why some people get cancer, and some don't. Some people can drink alcohol, and not have a problem, some don't. Some people can do harder drugs, and then not touch them again. Hell there's people addicted to food. It's all based on your genetics. But since cancer is considered a disease, and basically is caused by a mutated gene, then why couldn't addiction also be classified as a disease, since it to is caused by a mutant gene. lynnwood is quite literally, across the street from me and most of my shopping/errands are done there.
this is the first i have heard of it and i am surprised it hasn't been more newsworthy than an article in the wednesday edition of the seattle times.

I agree it is a disease, however, I don't think it should be near a school, or a toy store, or in a medical complex where familys go. I know I certaintly wouldn't feel more comfortable going to a place like that, I'd be worried about my vehicle getting broken into. For whatever reason. Drug adicts are not rational, or they wouldn't be using adictive drugs in the first place.

by rekless infirst of all let me state: i read hid book two years ago.. second: is this i have corresponed with him also.. third i strill have this one question about his intergity toward mankind...he only wrote about the wrong doings of the gb after he was dfed.
most of us on this board stop going and da ourselves after we found out about the channel to god was a big joke.
all i see is mr. franz has used his position as an ex gb to make a very nice living for himself in his latter years.. i feel if he wasn't dfed he would still be hanging on to the beliefs of the jw's and still be letting innocent people die, because he didn't come forth and spill his guts while he was on the gb.. really letting all of us think that there was a direct channel to god through the gb makes him as blood guilty as those that are still there votinbg 2/3 whether the poor jdubs should live or die.this voting cost me a son that died of leukemia and a wife of a rare blood disorder.. yes, he may be a hero to most of you but if he had made a stand and walked away telling what he told after he was dfed then he would be a hero to me also, but he has play both ends against the middle and came out smelling like a rose.. when i found out about the malawi and mexico thing i stopped going and daed myself right after my wife passed away.

New WTBS Fun.

i was around thinking about some things to do, the next time you happen to be in a kingdom hall (ack).. 1. at the memorial, partake of the emblem, when you get the unlevened bread passed to you, whip out a packet of peanut, butter and jelly, and a butter knife, spread some on one of the peices of the bread, and chow down.

Kingdom Hall Fun
I was around thinking about some things to do, the next time you happen to be in a kingdom hall (ack).
1. 2. When you get passed the whine, chug the entire glass, and ask for a refill, alternativly, just the entire glass, and state, at least they could have gotten a better wine.
3. At the next DF'ing, right after they make the announcement, boo and hiss. (This would be even better, if you can get a group of people to do it)
4. Try to get picked to answer, for every question during the Watchtower study, and blabber about something completely not related to what they're reading about.
5. Use the Service sheets for doodle pads, doodle as loud as possible.
6. Bring something along that can be hidden, to make loud farting noises.
7. During the songs, sing every note, except the ones that are in the song book, alternativly, sing a completely different kingdom song.
8. Hide something very foul smelling in the bathroom, some place hard to find.
9. Leave something sticky in the contribution box.
10. Walk around with your fly open, and see how long it takes someone to notice, when they do, loudly exclaim, you can't believe they were looking at your crotch.
On a more serious note, I've read where several people have states, some people that are out in services are just leaving magazines on door steps, even if they're not. I have an idea, when it comes to advocasy of abuse victims, tail a service group, and blanket as many flyers in the service area as you can, if your brave enough, blazenly walk up to someone they're talking to, and hand them a flyer.
