  Let The Lambs Tell Us What They Need.

  this isn't about the running of silentlambs.org.

  this is about the people themselves who have been abused.

  this is from someone who has never suffered from abuse, who is trying to understand the needs of those who have.. how can those who have not been abused help those of us here who have, and what can we do that would be really useful to those persons?.

  Exactly Kim, I've contacted my local congressperson at the state level, and she admitted I brought up some good points, about abuse being with someone the rest of they're lives, then why shouldn't someone that commits this crime, spend the rest of they're lives in prison.

  i discovered a major security flaw on the silentlambs website, i e-mailed bill about it, setup up a small demonstration, mind you i told no one else about this.

  and the demonstration was benine, because this flaw could allow someone to forward the site to say porn sights.

  i won't go into detail, but let's just say i could cause alot of havoc with it.

  That's the thing Simon, help was offered without strings attached, and because of the events that happened, the only strings I attached were for my questions to be answered. Anyone that is honest and forthright wouldn't have a problem with the questions I asked. Bill is paying someone to do the site, that's fine, but he's never offered any of us things, like tax reciepts, since you can write this off on your taxes, it's hardly fair to pay someone, and not offer tax reciepts to the people you got to do things free.

  Now, if I offer help to a charity or group and they don't want to use it ... then that is their choice just as it is Bill's choice how LS is run.

  Simone that's not what happened in this case, I offered to take it over, he accepted, and then immediatly fired me, without even telling me. I had to find out 3rd hand.

  already suspicious, but when i peep out of my crack in the curtain, i see two blokes i don't recognise, wearing long-sleeved collared shirts and ties in what is strictly t-shirt weather.

  suspicion confirmed.

  Rev, let me know when you have a 501 (c) (3) put together, this will be the only way to get PSA aired for free, TV and Radio stations are mandated to do this by the FCC, it's part of the requirement to have a broadcast license. I already have one written, just need to put it together, would still be willing to do one of SL, however, they need to pay for the video tape, because it needs to be transfered to BetaCam SP NTSC, and posibbly PAL, and that can be spendy. I can only do SVHS, and MiniDV natively, possibly 3/4 Inch SP, perhaps soon, DVD. BOD's don't usually do alot, they are caretakers, and pretty much there is a person in charge, however the BOD are there as a check, so in case the "President etc" goes nuts. And SL needs to statisfy me, for they're information, BOD, Bylaws, and finacial records. Sorry I just don't trust BB, anymore.

  I have a degree in communications technologies, for those that don't know what that is, it's has to do with Radio, and Television, that includes all aspects. I've done more TV, then Bill has in the last two years, I know about media, because on of my jobs, was doing news breaks, and entertainment reports on live TV. As well as gathering the information to send reporters out, as well as everything else that goes on behind the scenes, so I think I'm pretty damned qaulified, when it comes to media things. Hell I even own two cameras, and my own 100% digital non-linear editing suite. I've also built many websites, I can do backend server scripting from the ground up. I've helped run 501 (c) (3)'s non-profit corps, been on the BOD of one, so what exact qaulifications are you looking for? Bill doesn't know how to deligate, and well, I think SL is just going to burn itself out. Bill told me he hired someone to do the site, this was almost 3 weeks ago, I could have had a new site up in an hour, with all the features he was looking for, it's called, not re-inventing the wheel. He claims to be so concerned about a stable site, and something up quick, but he told me on the phone last night that he's overwhelmed, he's brought this on himself, had he actually taken me up on my offer, back in October, we wouldn't be where we are now with the site. I'm thinking about starting an org, or going in with some people to start a new org, that doesn't have one central person in charge of everything, and actually has a real BOD, with bylaws.

  This is the reason why he didn't use me, this is a direct quote from an e-mail he sent me:

  I guess it's ok to discrimate against XJW's, oh my god I post in forums, hmm isn't he an xjw? Didn't he used to post in forums? I post in other non-xjw related forums also. Think about the media? I was part of the media dumbass, you don't have that experience Mr. Bowen, I know how the media works, that's why my press release, actually had people show up at it, because I rewrote it. The press releases I've seen have been amaturist at best. They need to be short and sweet, K.I.S.S. (Keep it stimple, stupid).

  Exactly! Especially when you have people, that have alot more experience with certain jobs than him. Especially jobs, he has no experience with.
