This isn't a 5th amendment issue, if you or I were to know about a crime, and not report it, we could be held as an accessory to the crime. Why should the clergy be above the rest of the citizens?

What about the childrens rights? The rights of an entity, ie a religion, should not supersede the rights of the individual, it's not we the religions/coperations etc, it's we the people.

Geeky things you did when you were a kid
by DanTheMan inwe were a very geeky bunch of late 70's-early 80's suburban american white boys in my neighborhood where i grew up.. but my all time favorite one that makes me laugh every time i think about it, was how we rigged up parachutes to our bikes using twine and trash bags.
we would ride down the street as fast as we could, and then let the parachute out, which was tied to the end of our banana seat.
we thought we were cool funny car racers.. another one was inventing a previously unheard of cuss word that we could use around adults while winking at each other and giggling.

Wrote a multi-user Bulletin Board System, on a Dec PDP-11/43, with chat, and had all the Terminals talking to each other at my school, it took awhile for the Admin to catch on, even then, he didn't know you could do that. LOL

Ok, I'm confused, it doesn't appear to be signed, or anything? Would be hard to prove this was there letter, without letterhead, and a signature.

I don't give a flying phuck about religion, as long as kids are being protected. All religions can fizzle out, as far as I'm concerned.

Seems like a hostile work enviroment to me, talk to an attourney, and file for unemployment, also talk to HR, this guy has someone above him. If you have to go above local hr, and go to corporate.

UK Gun Laws: Possession = 5 Years Imprisonment.
by Englishman infollowing the deaths by shooting of 2 teenage girls last week, the uk government is speeding through even tighter gun controls than ever before.. already, high court judges have been told to impose a minimum 5 year jail sentence to anyone found in possesssion of a hand-gun in a public place.
also, consideration is being given to outlawing replica firearms as well as air powered weapons.
much is being made of the violent lyrics sometimes contained in rap - music which appears to often endorse gun culture.. see:http://news.bbc.co.uk/ for full story.. englishman..

I think drugs should be de-criminalized also, nobody looks at history, when alcohol prohibition was in affect, the murder rate went up 10 fold, when they got rid of it, it went down. The reason, is because organised crime got involved. These anti-drug laws, only benifit drug king-pins, certaintly not the average citizen. It's a simple formula drugs=illegal=organised crime, drugs=legal=more tax money. I think there should be a system of education, not elimination, the "war on drugs" has been lost, give up, regroup, and get on with life. Abaddon and anyone else, I ask you this, if you and your family are standing there, being attacked by a mad terrorist/gang rapist/murder, would you rather A. Have a law that says you can't have a gun to protect yourself, or B. Own a gun, and be able to protect yourself? I tell you this, growing up in areas that I did, there was a joke, to get the police to come out faster, you told them, you had a gun, and if they didn't get out there quickly there might be a dead intruder.
