"Feeling sorry for yourself" about being hit by your husband is not Christian 2/15/12 WT Page 25 P 12
by yourmomma inhave anyone of you read, the absolutly jaw dropping paragraph in this article about a women who was hit by her husband?
its in page 25 of the 2/15/12 wt study edition (i read the dumbed down version).. .
if there was any question, that the watchtowers stance is for wives to simply take it when their husbands abuse them, this makes it crystal clear.. who the hell is scanning these things before they go to print?

The sad fact is this thinking is tolerated and many JW's will point to the grounds for separation rule to say that the WT is not condoning domestic violence. They let this stuff just roll off their backs the org can do no wrong. We will be pointed to as the ones taking this out of context and exaggerating because we are tools of Satan.

Things to inspire JW Youth...We're rooting for you
by discreetslave injehovah's witnesses have the lowest retention rate of any religious tradition.
only 37% of all those who say they were raised as jehovah's witnesses still identify themselves as jehovah's witnesses.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6d2w-enhvdk.

Coroner's insight re real reason for refusing transfusion death
by Luo bou to inhttp://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8372556.
quote from coroner "i accept that this doctrine has been an entrenched principle of the jehovah witness religion since 1945 despite considerable debate.. "nevertheless, mrs allen's death most graphically illustrates the consequence of the rigid adherence to that doctrine and brings me to recommend, perhaps forlornly, that the jehovah witness governing body and its elders give consideration to a relaxation of its doctrine".
now there's one judge that doesn't buy the only following his bible trained conscience bullshit.

I was 16 when I studied with JW's and I went to Bethel at 19. I left when I was 22 still a strong JW but damaged. I was a married sister so it's a different experience than for a single brother. My friends grandson went into to Bethel lazy and on the fringe he left there a hardcore JW. I've seen te opposite happen as well. In my experience it's a toss up. A lot depends on who he becomes friends with while there.
You say he knows about 1975 which version does he know? JW's will admit 1975 but they've been fooled into saying that it was the publishers who thought more of it and got carried away. As an educator I would suggest reading Releasing the Bonds Empowering People to Think for Themselves by Steven Hassan. To help him and other other cult students you come across like Mormons. -

So sorry for your loss. I lost my close friends also people who were family to me. My husband has decided to remain with me but our relationship is different so I feel I've lost him also.
Now you can move on and find new bonds. It's not easy but we have to do it. Maybe someday your friend will wake up and you can be there for him when he apologizes for turning his back on you. That happened with me and my best friend. We hadn't spoken in 11 years after she was df'd. When I woke up I sought her out, now we just picked up our friendship like no time has gone by.

Even what they printed a couple of months ago is old because Jehovah is moving so fast! From last nights letter on Gilead.
by life is to short inthe gilead letter was read last night at the meeting, i had to listen in as they have reinstated my phone line, whatever.. so anywho the service overseer gave the part and he said that jehovah's organization is moving so fast that even what they have printed just a few months ago is now old and they just received a letter from the fs that was to be read tonight from the fs!.
the way he read it, he made it very exciting and like jehovah's chosen religion is moving so fast that it can hardly keep up and the letter was just proof.
the way this elder read the letter it made it sound like the married couples school is going to be so wonderful that it would suppress gilead in wonderfulness.. the elder doing the part then went on and on about how our educational programs are so much, much better than anything out in satan's world.

My ex gilead friend told me when she was diagnosed with PTSD that a fellow missionary comforted her by saying "there are many missionaries taking anti-depressants so there is no shame in needing help. Missionary life is tough."
They are an expensive investment. I'm surprised they took this long to do away with the school. Plus there are still many JW's willing to move where the need is greater so why pay for missionaries when people are still willing to sacrfice for free.
