  Running into a brick wall- conversations without logic

  i had this experience with a family member, lets say you say something against the witnesses doctronic and they dont say anything back, you ask them why are you not replying and they say "well you dont believe in us anymore".. what should i say back, something that wont offend them but goes straight to the point, you see they dont want to use their brains, they just want to listen at their halls about the end and apostates and how special they are and how false the rest of the world is and how they are the only true religion that follow the commandment to preach.

  but it does not matter what i say, doesn't matter how big it is it seems to have the reverse effect, it was alot easier before but now a conversation comes which they dont like they shun my conversation, yet they show me love, they dont touch whats the big issue, the big problem which is communication, and they maybe expected me to wake up, go back to the hall like nothing ever happen, like preaching is only for people who like what they hear.

  Do you believe in an annointed class?

  regarless of their identity - in fact, if they are really "discreet" their identity should probably remain unknown - do you believe the bible speaks of a spirit annointed class of folks, a limited number of humans that have been called to heaven to serve with jesus?.

  it always made me laugh about the anointed and how they though tthey were so special and different. but the thing is, they actually have more sense than the rest of the Jws do. Since when you die everyone gets judged then, not in some new body on earth all over again. So they recognize they will go to heaven! good for them! so do i! unless i turn monstrous....

  ....whenever i hear a news story about jw's, and when the news reporter refers to a kingdom hall as a chruch...too funny!!!.

  i had about 7 or 8 main things which did it for me. but if i had to choose ONE, it would be the death issue. They believe that when you die your dead and then there will be this resurection.

  I had trouble coming to terms with that since i am a roman catholic and brought up as one, we beileve when you die you go to heaven or hell.

  Alarm bells rang when i realized their religion is based on the word IF.

  For example: what IF they didnt eat the fruit! they woouldnt have died! and lived forever! LOL.

  Honestly, forget your ifs and buts mr and missus JW, it DID happen, they DID eat the fruit and we DO die, and this is life (imo) for EVERYONE, it was Gods plan to begin with, otherwise why would he have put the tree there to begin with.

  So i had trouble accepting this, and never really could.

  Especially when Jesus says many times about the kingdom of heaven that we all hope for after death, how about keep storing yourselves treasures in the heavens?

  Jeez, i wont go on too much with this.

  if i am interested in someone i look at their facebook page, check out their emails, pictures, family background, phone numbers, previous addresses, follow them home, watch them get changed, keep a close eye on them for months on end, stalk them , call them endlessly, harrass them for months.

  that was the old me, now i am reformed.

  my now-fiance was raised jw but left the religion about 10 years ago.. 2. we started dating last march, i got pregnant within two weeks.

  Hello JuneBug_11, Welcome!

  If i could ever offer any sound advice, it would be this:

  Given your circumstances, i would say that for this to be succesful, Your fiance should leave the religion. However as sizemik rightly pointed out, hes left and gone back so theres nothing to stop him going back sometime in the future. I would strongly encourage him to read into the real facts about this false religion, but only do that when he starts given you a mouthful of the watchtower and how he wants YOU to know his so called "truth".

  If he can dish it out, then he should likewise take in other things too. bear in mind that they are told to NOT read about anything online...(alarm bells ringing much)

  Anyway, thats what i would say... please try and encourage him to find out the TRUTH about the "truth".

  No room for george, why dont you just save your password and log in - in firefox. Thats what i have on every webpagei commonly use youtube facebook JW etc. Then bookmark the page and drag the bookmarked icon to under your www.etc.com bar. then all you have to do is click any one of those buttons and it logs in you in your name directly, no need for typos etc.
