*SNEEZES"...Should I say Bless You???? lol

i haven't been in the org for a long time, but it seems that whenever someone sneezes, you are not supposed to say "bless you" ///// why is this so??
i personaly don't see anything wrong w/saying bless you !

Thank you for sharing your story. Your friend is very lucky to have friends, like you, to turn to.
This is just one indication and example that even long time elders can see how the organization
really is. May he always have the support and strength to face any difficult times that may come
his way.

Recently, my JW dad went to Portland, Maine district convention, too. He told us that sisters were helping to direct cars for parking. (Brothers were directing more difficult areas.)
Does anyone know if this is true? Do you think that there are less interested brothers willing to perform this duties?

Memorial attendance down?
by TweetieBird inlast night 3 congregations met at the assembly hall for the memorial.
there were just a little over 800 there which really surprised me.
in past years every congregation around here usually had at least 300 in attendance.

Yes, attendance was down in the hall we went to, also. We arrived way too early. This was the first year the hall shared with a dance studio, there was dancers still rehearsing their number. We were all laughing because all what you could hear was "Hey, Big Spender...." being played over and over again. It was such a wierd and funny moment!
