  LDH, I took one of these tests for the Army. The highest you can get is a 99. Most people rarely make it over a 50 and in order to even carry a wearpon you must score a 35 or higher. It was a four hour test and very difficult I scored high enough to get whatever job I wanted in the Army and got quite the bonus $ out of it too.

  HOW MANY HERE HAVE HAD JUDICIAL ACTION?

  many of the posters here have been in the organization for years.during the time that you have been associated, have you ever had to go before a commitee?

  did you confess to something or were you confronted by the elders?

  were you ever accused of something but it couldn't be proven?

  I had an unofficial meeting with one elder for hanging out with my best friend who just happened to be a girl. I was told that I couldn't spend time alone with someone of the opposite sex. We ended up getting into a big argument and I told him that he and the other elders could go fuck themselves if they thought they could tell me who I could talk to and who I could hang out with. Needless to say I never got any "priveledges" in that congregation. I also had a judicial commitee for premarital sex. I had a so called "good" name in the congregation so they slapped my wrist and told me to go out in service more and attend all the meetings. I think I went to three meetings after that and never went back.

  They took some of these pictures off from the website, The Witches Voice. I think that a copyright violation has occurred. Besides that, I've always had a problem with the scripture they qouted, ""Jehovah is great and very much to be praised, and he is to be feared more than all other gods. For all the gods of the peoples are valueless gods."1 Chronicles 16:25, 26. Isn't this a recognition of not one god, but many. Why even bother to mention the fact that this god is better than the others if there really aren't any others, accordint to the Watchtower. Just a thought.

  have you ever had to deal with the thought that you really weren't that good of an example?

  perhaps, the congregation was encouraged to pioneer or reach out for bethel service or go to seldom worked territory, etc.

  and when you applied, you were told that you didn't qualify.

  Growing up we were THE example in the congregation. My dad was an elder, my mom a pioneer, sister and I pioneered during vacations and my father and I were always giving parts at the conventions. I hated it. I led a double life through most of my teen years and the guilt was so hard to bear for me because I believed most of it. Now my father and I are both out and my sister and mother are still in. My father and I almost had our sister out and my mother was able to get her back in and they are both die hard witnesses.
