  Are the suppliers for all WT materials, kingdomhall materials, etc, possibly owned by those in the organization?

  i wonder if the supplying companies for kingdomhall chairs, materials, etc, happen to be owned by ones with ties to the jws?

  they'd be making millions!

  like the us government, politicans can't just take tax money, but if they own companies that tax money goes to, then that's how you discover the true motives.

  I hate the Borg — but I'm not agreeing with many of you, because for what odd reason would the WTS NOT use JW based business.
  
  Would you not priviledge one of your family's business over a strangers?
  
  The only shocking thing to me is what has been said that some are " forced to go though some brothers in central canada for the mixing boards and the williams transmitters/receivers even though it would be cheaper sourcing them elsewhere." At that point it's mafia.

  i think wickedness comes from evil people.. there are many people in between the two extremes of, overly good people and overly evil persons.. i do not believe in a devil.. i think he is a concept dreampt up by evil ones to blame bad behavior, as a red herring, on anyone but themselves.. the watchtower makes up attrocious lies, brow beats good people not to better themselves,.

  all the while, they are building their own empire.. they say, do not isiolate yourself.

  it is not good for you.. but if you don't agree with them and their current teachings, you will be shunned, disfellowshipped.. that can and does, have earth shattering results.. so many things, i was taught as a born in, are now considered apostate teachings.

  I do accept Faith as the final answer. The only one valid in my opinion.
  But I argue that Faith is not a virtue, because unfounded hope in evidence not seen is called gullibility...

  Faith is 'felt', hence emotional. I can accept that. But one must admit this is all it is.

  What is your evidence for your God.

  What possible proof can you offer that is not offered by other's faith in other gods?

  What evidence against other gods could you have that is different and superior to the arguments against yours?

  To save time, please don't use the cop-out phrase "The evidence of God is all around you!"
  BECAUSE;
  it is no different than saying "Look at thunder and lightning, there is the evidence of Thor!"

  I mean, please give me logical and/or empirical evidence.

  What you are describing here is Faith. Where is your individual thinking? Do you not see that for one expert's assertions, there's another expert's rebuttal? You talk as if the Big Bang means a clear beginning, when the first law of thermodynamics and a plethora of scientists argue FOR a cycle of 'beginnings'. You also make the fallacy of pointing to authority as if this was in any way a valid cop out for thinking.

  " BUT don't pretend you have superior evidence or science!"

  Too many changes mean more changes to come

  i just joined this site after researching the recent 'new light" my daughter is an unbaptized witness, as well as her husband and my grandchildren.

  i was baptized in the 80s but i am inactive for years now because of changes and inconsintancies etc.. .

  if the sheep and the goats teaching has been changed to happen after the great tribultaion, or after armageddon then this would mean that everyone would not be seperated or judged until after armageddon has occured.

  Bumpy weekend ahead

  so my sister is coming to stay this weekend.

  although i'm sure she knows i'm not going to meetings, i don't know whether she realised i will not be going to any more meetings.

  not looking forward to that time on sunday when i tell her she's going on her own.
