i was a regular christian before a jehovah's witness person came knocking on my door.

i did not know what a jehovah's witness was when i met her.. she's a very nice person, and brings her 14 year old daughter everytime.

she says i should not watch tv, and should not listen to music, and should not play video games, because they will corrupt me, because they are what devil has created.. my friend told me that they are extremests and he is very worried about me being in contact with jehovah witness people (as you can see, i'm not too sure of how to address them either).

Jackyboy. There is a saying which I believe is true
"Its kind to be cruel" sometimes.You would be far better off to tell of the discrepcies you have found out about -than to continue encouraging her in her error.I was in it for over 20 yrs.
I made 10 people J.Ws -For which I now feel very guilty.You will be hurting her for the moment but helping her for the rest of time.

did you hear about the couple that wanted to buy a parrot.

that talked?went to the pet shop.saw one, the shop owner said we have one,but it has been returned twice-seems it has a limited speaking.... well the couple took it.

Well the couple took it. Went home it was really cute. Hardly said a thing until tuesday night it started screeching" Get ready for the book study- get ready!!!" nothing until Thursday it yelled "Get ready for the ministry study come on ministry school!!" then nothing till early Sat:morning it screeched "SERVICE,!service!"nothing until Sun:a.m.It yelled "Kingdom Hall Kingdom hall "- the owner was fed up with this after a few weeks, It never listened to anything They said. So in anger he threw it across the room- it hit the wall with a force,feeling bad he lifted it from the floor to hear the bird say "No blood! No blood!!!!

i'm still trying to make sense out of sex and the so called bibical view by the wts.

i guess to be fair to a certain extent the wts is only trying to follow the bible's view about sex, but i often wonder if maybe the current understanding is incorrect.. lets examine homosexuality for a moment.

for a long time i've always beleived what the society has taught in that homosexuality is wrong.

I agree with you Leander.I am not a person to post much-but I
am friends with 3 homosexuals- They certainly did not choose their
lives.I saw a documentary where a girl was born with one body & two heads, both heads thought differantly- If that can happen at birth why not a person who has homosexul tendency.
I know SO many Ex j.w. Who married because of their "sexual
passion" they have miserable lives, weather they are together or divorced- besides the children of those unions-who are unhappy also.
No my God didn't want that-He died for you to have peace.Not the way the world gives..

I think it is awful ,"first human cloning" but Didnt God say
"there is nothing they will not be able to do now"Thats why he cut us off from everlasting living( unless we worship the God of LOVE.0
That why I believe he blocked the "tree of life". We have knowledge to do all God did except Reserect the dead. ( MY opinion)
