Santa Clause and lying....
by Oxnard Hamster inone reason the jws don't celebrate christmas, besides the fact it's supposedly an insult to god, is that they purport that it's wrong to "lie" to children by telling them santa claus exists.
i really didn't give the issue much thought until recently.
the jw i used to study with called me and asked how i was doing, and we eventually got on the subject of christmas, and he brought up that it's wrong because parents lie to children by saying santa claus is real.

Well, we will definitely keep you in mind for future get-togethers. This was spur of the moment, so I understand that it would be difficult for everyone to make it. We are still having quite a few coming, so if anyone decides to come last minute...the more the merrier!
I spent most of yesterday making "buckeyes" (peanut butter and chocolate candies that look like buckeyes), Italian cream cake and bourbon slush! We are going to have lots of yummies!!!

A Bean In His Ear
by cruzanheart inyes, friends, you heard it correctly: after jackson spent thanksgiving weekend in the hospital, and after jennie got strep throat the weekend after, our jackson is continuing the madness and mayhem.
he says he got "silly" at school and stuck a bean in his ear, and then panicked when he couldn't get it out.
we took him to the minor emergency clinic and were told that they can't get it out either because it's waaaaayyy up in the ear canal.

My daughter got a small piece of foam stuck way up in her nose...we had no idea until days later when she reaked of a very foul odor. We took her to the emergency room and they used those little pliers to pull it out.
bean up his nose and no one knew until it started sprouting and he has a nasty sinus infection
Yeah, something like that....YUCK!

Man, I miss the good old days!
by Outaservice inlet's see now......... monday night: prepare for the tuesday night book study i will conduct.. tuesday night: drive over to an almost inactive brother's house to conduct the book study.
prepared questions for the children ahead of time.
the answer was always 'god's organization'!.
