Could you actually see or smell the breakfast food that you weren't allowed to eat until this old booger shut his piehole? That would kill me. Knowing that my breakfast was RIGHT THERE, just out of reach. And I couldn't touch it until the monotonous droning voice stopped making noise.

Oh my dear lord. You folks really got out of bed at the crack of dawn, got dressed in your Sunday finest, went to the breakfast table by 7 a.m........ for THAT?????? He almost put me to sleep within the first 2 minutes, just watching him try to figure out what DAY it was. Holy crap, I wouldn't have lasted 2 days in beth-hell.

@JeffT: I struggled with where to put Jehovah. I can see your point, that he belongs on his own tangent, similar to Jesus. But... I kinda like him being below elder's children, but above ministerial servants. I kinda feel like ministerial servants might be the highest eschalon in the Witness world that actually pretends to be obeying "Jehovah." Granted, most of them are only doing it as a pretense to hopefully get appointed as elders. So I made an editorial decision to put Jehovah right there, between Min Servants and Elders' families.

Coded Phone number for Kingdom Hall attendence.
by Joshnaz ini just learned the the kingdom halls have a coded phone number for listening in on the sunday meetings.
for my area the phone number is 623-748-1908. when it asks you for the code dial 623293. you can enter the number of listeners and you are counted in attendance.
i just wanted to let everyone here know and see what everyone's thought's were..

What happened with me was: my former congregation changes the pin number monthly. But I figured out that the administrator's passcode was 111111. A few times, I dialed in and listened to little snippets of the meeting by going in with the admin code. But you only get to listen for like 12 seconds, then it drops the call. I did it the night that my DA was being announced... I wanted to actually hear the announcement.
After that, I dialed in with the admin passcode a few more times... then someone must have logged in and seen that I was dialing in, so they changed it.
That's why I recommend that anyone who dials into KHCONF uses the *67 prefix to mask their number.

If you dial in but don't want your incoming phone number being logged, dial *67 before dialing the phone number (in the U.S.; I don't know how you do it elsewhere.)
The hall I apostasized from used KHCONF and they changed the passcode every month. The administrator code was 111111 for a long time, but now they've changed it to something else, so I can't eavesdrop anymore.

There was one thing they said to you that tells you everything you need to know about the Jehovah's Witness religion.
They told you that you shouldn't ask so many questions.
A group that tells you that you need to OBEY and STOP ASKING QUESTIONS is dangerous. It is a CULT.
Never, ever let anyone tell you to stop asking questions. That is unacceptable.
