Words in other languages which have different meanings to when we say them
by The Nothing Man indoes anybody know of any words, which are spelt and pronounced the same, which are used in other languages but which mean completely different things?
as an example (which doesn't work i know) love in english means affection, but love in say, spanish, means hate?
dumb example i know, but do you catch my drift?

Yizu...........so sorry you both are going through this. She is much too young for this.
It sounds like she is getting better though, so that's very good news.

What are you doing to save money on groceries and gas?
by milligal ini'm looking for tips.
i usually shop at a commissary on a military post, the other day i went to a civillian store and found eggs for $3/dozen, milk $5/gallon and bread $3/loaf!
well even on post it's still expensive.

buy at the Asian Market. You can get really GREAT deals there. Say for instance I want Basil. If I were to buy a pack of fresh at the normal market, it runs up to 3.00.
We go to the Asian market too. Great deals on meat and produce. Their ramen (like Top Ramen) is not less than the major stores though.
We have several large ones within a couple of miles here, and I definitely go there. Often am the only one like me in the store though. That feels weird.

Franz concludes by stating that Robert Lang was for him "the kind of person he was, not because of the organization, but in spite of the organization."
Bob Lang married one of my childhood friends, and lives out here now. He is still an active JW, but I know he is extremely liberal and fair and doesn't believe in going after the ones who leave. He really is a good guy. Everyone loves him because he is such a good man. I am confident that if we saw him, he would greet us warmly, maybe even hug us.

I am trying a tip from Suze Orman. I used to shop once a week, and then go to the store occasionally for things I had forgotten. The once a week trip was a full cart and expensive.
She recommended giving up that practice and only going when you actually need something, and buying only those things. I am finding I spend about half as much for food and grocery items. She also said to use what you have in the cupboards and see how long you can go without shopping.
The store is very close, so gas use is minimal.

even if witnesses did vote they wouldn't be courted by anyone because their just too small a segment of society.
right.......it says they are less than 1%. Hehehehe...............Serena Williams doesn't vote. Gag. But she can run around the Olympic Games wrapped in a giant American flag.

by Mulan inwe have 9 grandchildren (including 2 step granddaughters, that we have had since they were 3 and 1 ....now 19 and 22, so we are grandma and grandpa definitely) but only one girl born to us, who is 10 now.. our youngest son and his wife have a little 2 year old boy, and are expecting again in november.
we just found out it's another boy.. i guess we are just boy breeders.
