Our niece, Tania and her husband, Julian, send their condolences too. Ian emailed with them for a long time, sharing treatment options. Julian has the same kind of lymphoma that Ian had. They got to be friends, and are very saddened by his sudden death.

i need to let you know that dad passed away this morning at 8am.
he fought so hard but in the end they could not get his blood pressure to rise and he died of heart failure.

I took this photo from the living room window. You can barely see our steps. If we try to open the door to the back deck, snow will fall into the kitchen, it's backed up against the door about 8-10 inches. It's still coming down too.

Yes, it's in the teens here, and a blizzard is on the way. We both have major cabin fever. Probably won't have a White Christmas though. It's supposed to rain by Wednesday.
I am just so glad I got my shopping done early.
I have two little grandsons who haven't been to see Santa yet, and their Mom is in the hospital recovering from back surgery. Their house is way out in the country in a hilly area, and they are really snowed in. We are hoping to get them to Santa in the next few days.
This weather is beginning to get on my nerves.

We never met but talked on the phone a lot, and emailed and sent Christmas cards every year.

by faundy injust to let everyone on here who knows my dad, that he is seriously ill, and unfortunately on life support.
he has renal and respiratory failure as a result of the quickest onset of pneumonia i have ever seen... it came on in the early hours of this morning.
he is waiting for an intensive care bed but the nearest one is 200 miles away.

Our Santa always dresses that way and the set is like a living room, so is very comfortable for the kids. Except the baby's brother who will be 3 in March would have no part of it this year.
The beard is real and he is about 5'4", just like an elf.
