  the current fading of brand name "the watchtower" & the rise, rise, rise of jw.org.

  the watchtower as brand name is in the process of being imperceptibly faded from visibility in the organization.

  who'd have thought you could make a watchtower fade and disappear?

  we are up for a new kind of persecution in the future.

  a new form that was unheard of for us.

  in australia, disfellowshipped and dissasociated are planning on suing jw for emotional and mental hardship for being cast out completely.

  Almost all of the "persecution" I endured as a JW came from my "loving brothers and sisters," not outsiders. They need to take a close look at themselves before crying "persecution" about anyone else!

  What to do when my wife is away for a week and I am supposed to attend this years RC?

  easy... skip it!.

  but already i had people calling me asking where i was yesterday!!!!

  the system the jw's have in place can be compared to a communist regime , where everyone keeps a check on each other.

  Can you pretend you're attending a different assembly this year while visiting relatives or taking a trip? I know I recommend this a lot, but pretending to be ill is also a way out. If you must go, have a few drinks beforehand, but not if you are driving. Do you have someone who can drop you off and then get a ride home with someone you know?

  teresa graves was a beautiful, talented actress and singer.

  she was deceived by wt false prophecies and worthless teachings.

  she threw away a very promising career to become a jw.

Anyway, my last remark was in reference to reincarnation. I don't know if there is such a thing, but, if there is, Ms. Graves could be among us as a youngster.

  Chaffee also wrote a book called The Thinker's Way. It has step by step strategies for thinking through situations and figuring out what to do. I recommend it. I also recommend any of Wayne Dyer's books, particularly his first one, entitled Your Erroneous Zones. It's not specifically about critical thinking, but about setting yourself free and not being manipulated.

  There was an article about her in a magazine, maybe TV Guide. I read the article and was very proud of her stand at that time. It's a pity she wasted her life and talent. Maybe she's come back and is living near one of us.

  Being a Witness results in selfish and self centered people!

  i have noticed that many witnesses are very self centered and selfish people as a result of "leaving everything in god's hands to correct".

  what i mean is, because "the kingdom will fix poverty, the homeless, poor, underpriveleged, etc...." it means they can just pass by those in need, or fulfill their natural human desire to help (if they have it) by just giving literature!.

  so, just preach to those in need, and then you can feel good and smug about yourself!.

  So true. When I was losing my mind and about to break free, I recall realizing that I had been a better person in every way before I was a JW. It's nice to be me again.

  Years ago, I took the test from the book Please Understand Me by Kiersey and Bates. I was an INTP.

  Later, I had the test professionally administered. I was an INXP, i.e. I move between the T and the F. I think most people have a duality on at least one of the four items.

  My daughter tells me I don't think like other people, and I like that.
