twas looking at youtube and a girl murdered someone she was jealous of and got away with it.. .
6 months later she confessed due to guilt.. .

Guilt is what we have been conditioned to carry through the generations the burdens go onto the next generation and the results of that are seen in every day life. Only by accepting the death of Jesus as the ransom he took all of our sin past present and future upon himself can we get free from it

absolutely nothing....but i bet for the forty years in between russell gave him full credit for how he was running things...just like they do today...but why does nobody ask wtf jesus is doing or what he did for those 40 years....who the hell was running things?!?!?!?
so if russell thought jesus was running things (invisibly of course...how conveeeeeenient) for forty years before 1914...and they still do....what were the differences in the 40 years before 1914 and all those after?.....
and now i am so dissapointed in my oh so intelligent dad jw elder for life...how could that and pedicting the end of the world in 1914 not be a deal breaker for this third generation jw dad????

i have never in my whole life heard of this being done but at my husband's hall they just asked the congregation to pay about $250.00 to help with the cost of the dinner after the memorial and for flowers.. i was a jw for over 45 years and i have never heard of this.
when my parents died who had been jw's for years i felt lucky fortunate to even be able to use the kingdom hall for their memorial.
i am just speechless at them giving money.
They should rename it corporate Kingdom Hall. They have entered the spirit of the world of the great god called money. Look at their invlovment in the stock markets and real estate. While they tell every one else to live simply. What amazes me with churhces i never hear any sermons on where the congregation bring all their good sand share them out.
