  i read the governing body signed their passports which is a signature to pledge allegience to the usa.

  i they did not sign them the ycould not travel.

  after three years i dusted off my bible put on my sunday suit and walked door-to-door in the glorious morning sun for 90 minutes solid (no breaks--old-school).

  ' i always felt some subtle compulsion to do this, i don't know why.

  it was not for subterfuge or causing trouble.

  good question. I would ask if they think the thousands of christians who are not jw's who are murdered and tortured for Jesus sake were martyred for nothing.

  where does it say in the bible the amount of hours you have to do. THe organization is a religon of works. When in fact you cannot earn the gift being givne to all of us. THe congregations are enslaved by man and not set free as jesus said

  i cannot stand the doomsday people trying to spread fear amongst everyone.

  i've had enough doom and gloom from the 25 years of my jw service...i just want to be happy and positive.

  but my co-worker is very pessimistic, anti-social and an extreme negative energy all around.

  i am having a discussion with a jw who has contacted me on facebook.

  we are discussing the changed the wt society made to hte bible.

  in short he says he has a hebrew friend and that friend says the nwt is correct and no changes have been made.

  people of past generations had less information available ot them. THey tend to stick with what they know. Hence the epxression "better the devil you know" or the saying keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer
