I can't say that comp usa has done anything to me. Best buy is a place I will never ever ever set foot in again. That store carries my "record for worst customer service ever"
Just had one at Blockbuster. cocky attitude from worker there. I almost tossed the video at him and walked out!
How about when you check out someplace and the cashier says not one word. Not hello, good afternoon, thank you, nothing. One time I just stared at the cashier until fiinnaallyy she said something.
Rude customer service is becomming more and more frequent I think. Either that, or I just get more bothered by it then I used to.

It helps to look a different Bible translations. Have you done that in your Bible study program? Try this website: http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible .
I couple times I actually took my NIV version to the hall. It was no small bible either. It was the larger leather bound. WOW, did I get some looks from people. Nobody really said anything, But I could tell that it was not setting right with people. I guess its NWT or nothing! Its strange that my mom had many different versions at home to study and compare. She did not care that I said I was bringing that NIV version. She just wanted me to be there.
Any {publisher} who has not reported field activity for a period of six or more consecutive months is considered inactive by the {Society}. Any person who fails to report is not counted as one of {Jehovah's Witnesses} in the numbers published by the Society. (Compare {active publisher} and {regular publisher}.)
Is it just the numbers that matter to the society? I seem to remember a time when the society said that if a bible study was not progressing to where one was attending meetings in 6 months, that the study should be dropped. I just cannot understand that. Can anyone verify this, or is it just my imagination?

I was raised a witness. I believe it is much harder to leave under these circumstances, because it is all I knew. I never celebrated christmas, birthdays, etc. Now how am I supposed to do these things with my own kids?

I can relate to much of what you are saying. I have small children, and I get along good with my witness relatives. I don't want to ruin that.

while researching the scriptural references to "paradise" (and the official wts explanation for each), i was surprised with what i found regarding the location of paradise.
these are the only three places that the word "paradise" can be found in the bible.. .

Earth is the location of this paradise.
Since Jesus said that this man would be "with" him, is it your belief that Jesus will reside on the earth also?

artful, Great post. It looks like the paradise is in heaven rather than on earth. It never mattered to me if I would be in heaven or on earth. I hope that I will be remembered by God and I trust that I would be happy at either place.
