well, a jdub was telling me a story that when she nursed her son her nipples were so sore that they cracked and literally bled when she was feeding her son.
she said it was so bad that when he would spit up it would sometimes have blood in it.
how is that different then having a blood transfusion?
The Watchtower is not concerned about eating meat. I never could understand the reasoning on not using blood for medical reasons. My life was put on the line as a child because of it. Thankfully I had a great doctor and everything went well.
I agree with OnThe Way Out.
" with the work and sweating I do, I would get a rash where my legs rub together if I didn't shower every day. "
Work at Chippendales part time?

I was beginning to worry a little about you. Thought maybe you got stuck out there in the wilderness with the bad knee. Maybe got surrounded by some hungry wolves. Fending off with a stick and a meaner growl. Glad you are back. Take care of that knee.

There is one time a bear came at me in the woods. grizzly, I think it was. It threw me to the ground and started in on me with those claws.........
Ohhh, I can't lie...........I got a boo boo once as a kid and I think my ma put a band aid on it.
I hope your knee gets better.

i have never been fat - exactly.
but i have been overweight most of the past two decades.
lately it has settled around my waistline.. so, i decided to find a way to lose it without falling back into bad eating habits - a lifestyle change.. i have taken a few steps and began earnest effort to start moving the scale southward last monday, so i am 8 days in.. here is what i am doing:.
AK-Jeff, Congratulations on your diet.
I have been exercising more and eating less. I am not losing as much as I would like to. Right now, I am starting to put a value on the pleasures of eating, Lol. I mean, Why should I suffer so much? What's wrong with enjoying a drink every now and then. What's wrong with sitting down with a bag of chips and dip, or a nice assortment of chocolates? It makes me feel good! Oh well, I will keep trying for at least a little while more. But if those pounds don't start melting away, well.... chocolate, here we come! Lol
as i was reading through the bios, every one of the members is married, which i did not know.. and only three where born before 1935.. .

Purplesofa, Thank you for posting this info. I feel it is important for people who are affected by the Watchtower, to know who the leaders are.
I often hear about financial corruption, and was wondering if the brothers who are pictured here are living a "rich" lifestyle. I have heard of Rutherford buying Cadillacs, but not much after that. Are these men laying out on the beach, riding in limos, eating steak and lobster every night on the backs of those who go door to door and keep the corporation going?
the other day i went downtown to run a few errands.
i went into the local coffee shop for a snack.
i was only there for about 5 minutes.
Now look what you started.
last week i got an unsightly first-degree burn on my right arm.
when i first noticed it, i had no idea where it came from.
it first looked like a big red welt on my arm, swollen and red, but with unusually sharp edges -- i didn't even realize that it was actually a burn although a few days later it started to look more like one.
I think I know what happened. You may have been watching George Burns, Stephen King's "Fire starter", or"Mississippi Burning". Try watching movies like, "Cool Runnings", "Cool Hand Luke", or "Be Cool". That should fix the problem.
