If you need to wash any viking apparel do those in a separate load. You need lots and lots of liquid bleach. 1 gallon each load , 2 is better. put the bleach in first before the water is added and let soak for 5-6 hours. then add water and wash normally.

How about when you check out someplace and the cashier says not one word. Not hello, good afternoon, thank you, nothing. One time I just stared at the cashier until fiinnaallyy she said something.
Rude customer service is becomming more and more frequent I think. Either that, or I just get more bothered by it then I used to.

I couple times I actually took my NIV version to the hall. It was no small bible either. It was the larger leather bound. WOW, did I get some looks from people. Nobody really said anything, But I could tell that it was not setting right with people. I guess its NWT or nothing! Its strange that my mom had many different versions at home to study and compare. She did not care that I said I was bringing that NIV version. She just wanted me to be there.

Is it just the numbers that matter to the society? I seem to remember a time when the society said that if a bible study was not progressing to where one was attending meetings in 6 months, that the study should be dropped. I just cannot understand that. Can anyone verify this, or is it just my imagination?

I was raised a witness. I believe it is much harder to leave under these circumstances, because it is all I knew. I never celebrated christmas, birthdays, etc. Now how am I supposed to do these things with my own kids?

artful, Great post. It looks like the paradise is in heaven rather than on earth. It never mattered to me if I would be in heaven or on earth. I hope that I will be remembered by God and I trust that I would be happy at either place.
