  I ran into an inactive JW at the store we talked for 20 minutes

  i ran into an inactive jw at a department store last night and we talked for 20 minutes easily, it was actually pretty fruitful.

  so here's what happened:.

  i see him and recognized him but he didn't know who i was at first as he hasn't seen me in at least a year and i've lost weight, have a goatee and dress way more awesome than i ever did as a dubb schlubb.. so i said hi to him by name and he says, who are you i'm not sure?

  Whats your opinion of the WTS. apologizing now for its past wrongful teachings ?

  something happened recently by the wts.

  that doesn't rarely often and that is the wts.

  executive editors apologizing for the organization's past mistakes and proclamations.

  If a R&F dub attempted to offer an "apology" of this kind during a Judicial Hearing you can bet the outcome would be:

  "Brother/Sister Unrepentant, you clearly have a bad attitude and need to be disfellowshipped!"

  Where Does The Governing Body Stand On Corporate Transparency And Their Fudiciary Duty To Their Members Who Trust Them?

  i'm thinking the governing body needs to improve its corporation's transparency, and that it has a fudiciary duty towards all members to do so.

  yet it makes very little information availible to check.

  Once a month, every congregation has its Accounts Report read to the entire congregation. At District Conventions, Circuit and Special Assemblies there is a public accounting.

  And yet the WTBTS does NOT follow this example and make their accounts open to public examination. Why not?
