i know that european countries won't extradite anyone to the us if they could face the death penalty, but this seems a very different kettle of fish somehow.
The Germans are obstructionists to what is a larger need;
They show poor taste and timing;
They are hypocrites: consider their past and this attempt at salving their conscience and atonement. Let them do their hand-wringing ON THEIR OWN TIME!!!

I have found what Kenpo said to be generally true. I am in this position.
However, moving thousands of miles helped. On the second move, I made absolutely no attempt to contact JWs.
However, my Rutherfordite, vindictive, energetic [known locally as the Energizer Bunny] father dogged me and caused me trouble. Sometimes the RELATIVES ARE THE WORST, and everybody else will let you go in peace. That has been my experience.
(Sidenote: My father is technically guilty of STALKING and would be doing Felony time, if all this was done in my state. That leverage, due to recent Penal Code changes is very powerful.)
I want to inject a detail, that I have seen reference to, that is related.
Apparently, there is some obscure ruling/writing in those secret rule books about an inactive person moving into a different territory. He makes no "waves", attempts at association or what-not. So he is technically not on the "rolebooks" locally and cant be dealt with.
However, a FILE may be kept on him, probably in one of those sealed envelopes. It is in case HE/SHE SHOULD EVER DESIRE TO RETURN.
Has anybody any experience with these? I am curious as, I have confirmed that PEOPLE THAT I HAVE NEVER MET, IN A KH I HAVE NEVER SEEN KNOW ABOUT ME.

here's something i don't get...i was reading in a jw publication(i think it was "proclaimers of god's kingdom"that the early witnesses only had to go in,sit down and listen to a talk.they never even had to raise their hands or utter a word.didn't go door-to door either,and yet most if not all of them claimed to be of the "anointed class".nowadays if you don't comment at every meeting,spend most of your free time in field service and give talks yourself on the tms(which they didn't even have in those days) you are made to feel like your'e not even worthy to live on the earth,let alone heaven.so what's up with that?what did they do to make god love them more?.

i think i may have a potential problem on my hand.
over the last year or so, i've been attempting to go the slow fade route with the jw religion.
for the most part i've succeded, as my significant decrease in jw related activities has been greeted only by brief "pep talks" by my parents at worse.
Has anyone ever been DF'd for not taking baths? or for being a nut-case???
