he had a very calm, serene, quality about him.

Bingo!!! Nice, cheerful and even spiritual one minute; and then along comes

Satan the CO/DO and blasts you going and coming!!! You and the kind Elder may get separate back-room visits.

One of the things that happened as I left: I REALIZED I HAD THIS SORT OF EFFECT ON PEOPLE. I was very effective in Field Service. Then I would get chewed out in a pIONEER Meeting. So, I wondered: what was I getting other people into???

Then it occurred to me: WHAT IF THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG?? That's when I started the "slow drift".

My unique comment: LAITY CLASS!!!! I am not A DAMNED PREACHER!!!!!!!!

But other thoughts were excellent, so I'll leverage or "springboard" off a couple of other comments:

1) "MYSELF". Yep, this is JOB #1!!!

2) "Maybe I was never spiritual." I won't go that far; but it is NOT JOB #1, either. (see 1, above)

3) "I love the freedom of not believing in a religion or it's tenets." And, if I feel like discussing religion, I will do it WHEN I CHOOSE, with SOMEONE WITH AN OPEN MIND AND NO AGENDA.

BTW, this lets me speculate on questions and thoughts that would get you tossed out of JW/WTS in a heartbeat.

4) "Because it wasn't necessary for me to keep living and I lacked the dependence on the unseen to fulfill my existence." VERY GOOD!!! This reinforces my personal observation: I DON'T HAVE TO BE A DAMNED PREACHER TO GET SALVATION!!!!

participating, or even lurking on this site could lead to a major deterioration of your spiritual wellbeing.

spiritual degradation could well be the result of such practices.

gradualism is an insidious spiritual disease with life threatening effects.

As someone pointed out, listening to these speeches can be hard on the sensory inputs.

So, insist on the best provisions for your safety and comfort at KH, Ass-embly Hall or stadium. Your seats should have both SEAT BELTS and BARF BAGS available, attached to your seat or in the seat back in front of you.

If you do not have these necessities, you have been overlooked and are treated as lower than the lowest coach-fare passenger of the worst 5th rate airline.

i know some of you hate the idea of jwd being like a congregation but just for fun, let's imagine who would "serve" as the elders (presiding overseer, secretary, service overseer) etc.

and what "privileges" you would be given.

Use a pound or 2 of Durham's Rock-Hard Putty. (Available in various sizes, up to 55 gallon drum.) It sets up like concrete in about 20 minutes. Done right, this toilet CANNOT be cleaned or repaired. IT WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED!!!
