From what I have seen on TV the Swedish players are too busy beating each other to have much of a chance of beating England. :)

So What Kind Of Pit People Are We?
by VioletAnai ini was standing at the mirror this morning, pondering, after squeezing a rather nasty zit, whether i should shave my pits and legs this morning.
then i pondered...nah, long pants today!
i am such a lazy thing.. there is a bonus to hairy armpits....unbeknownst to them, the opposite sex can't resist the extra pheromones (sic...probably badly) pumped out and stored in the folicles....no wonder the blokes have been falling at my feet lately.. so i think i'll stay hairy just for one more week...then see how i go.. who's with me?

Where else are you going to go?
by Dawn ini have heard that argument from the jw's since i was a child - i still hear it from my family.. now that i am out it seems like such a silly argument.
in fact, you could liken it to someone in an abusive marriage for years.
they're used to the situation and somewhat frightened at the thought of change.

Printer Advice
by sweetone2377 into all of out there thinking of using that refill, do it yourself kit for your printer's ink cart.....don't do it!!!
we've have done this and are now experiencing a problem.
they neglect to tell you that your cartridge heads (or whatever you call them) wear out well before you can use all ink you have in the kit.. .

If you are only printing text get a laser printer, they work out cheaper and you don't have to fanny around with ink. :)

Just An Ordinary Dad, Please.
by Englishman inim working with number 1 son at the moment, hes saving up cash for his forthcoming trip to oz in may.. my other 2 sons work with me from time to time whenever they need to earn extra money.
that way they can all run cars and enjoy good holidays.
i enjoy it too, i always seem to develop a special rapport with whichever one is working with me.. they always ask me about my younger days when we are at work, and we have a good laugh when i tell them about some of the antics that i used to get up to.

I was very new in the troof and full of new converts zeal when the Falklands War started. Like an idiot I was busy telling my workmates how it was a sign of the end and that this Old System couldn't possibly last until the end of the 80's because of the 1914 'prophecy'. What a steaming pile of Watchtowers.

There was an interesting series on Channel 4 here in the UK recently concerning the discoveries of cities now underwater. One of the theories put forward was that mankind had in fact made the leap to civilisation some 10,000 years ago but the floods following the end of the last ice age had wiped those civilisations out. I missed quite a few of the progs but those I saw were thought provoking.

The Plymouth Brethren are often seen shouting at ppl in the centre of the city here. I never really paid much attention to them until I realised one of them was a bloke I had shared the same class with through my entire school life. I guess the good thing with the PB is they don't pick out an individual they just bawl at heads. I've yet to see any of the Rabid Born-Againers having a go at peeps in the UK.
