Daydreaming as well as sleep-dreaming give us a window into the soul.
Sometimes we have a dream that presents a reality to us we didn't know we're CARRYING.
For this reason, dreaming is useful, to infer our own hidden agendas.
That how I use dreams; and I avoid making prediction for other people, based on MY dreams.
Why? I'm responsible for my reality, not theirs.

it has been some time since my last post on here and its been hard for me to post much since i'm still in and my fellow dubbies are always poking there heads in my business trying to find something wrong to get me into trouble, but i do enjoy lurking on here from time to time... and i do plan to post here much more in the near future!.
actually, being on this site and reading all of your threads (mostly on my phone) has become my favourite thing to do at meetings and on field service and pretty much anything wtbts related!.
you all have been such a great help and comfort to me when i feel down, seriously even the trolls that come around here every now and then leave me with a sense of tranquility, for it reminds me of how i used to be just like them at one point, it gets me all "happified" to know that i have now awakened and see the "truth" about the truth and feel quite at peace with myself at times.. as some of you that have read my first post may know... i've been working on a really, really long fade, and so far its been going steady to say the least.
Wow. I thought the Covenant was about Sincerity and speaking from the heart.
I simply don't know how one can put up such a charade, and feel at Truth in one's heart.
Couple of things come up.
1. Being out in the world is not freedom; it is slavery to the money-cycle.
2. Cutting oneself off from one ideology that no longer fits may be a good thing;
but what will replace your focus on being Other-Centered and not just ADOPT Self-Centered LIFE?
Isn't that just jumping from the frying pan into the fire?
3. Have you talked to your associates about how you feel? Or are you acting phony with everybody?
I feel very sorry you, young woman. You don't appear to know your own mind very well yet.
When I was in your situation (similar), I went ON RETREAT in silence, and just talked to God about it.

in a nutshell, what keeps most jw's together (and the group as a religion) is the validation of their own ideas.
hey, at the meetings in those kh's, it didn't matter what anyone else thought.
People who validate their ideas together are INTO Ideology.
I'm not into ideology; I'm into law-abiding behavior because I like the effects and outcomes of good behavior around me.
Torah-Law is good behavior if you treat it sensibly; Sermon on the Mount is good behavior.
But thoughts clanking around in somebody's headbone don't qualify as "behavior"--not yet. Dogma & doctrine are just thoughts.
The Will of YHVH God is that we get along, steward the planet, survive problems, keep our history, develop good Law and Ethics.
Those are ALL behaviors; in fact, they presume a lot of experience, work and the cultivation of wisdom.
I guess this way of thinking is probably not the most popular one on these Boards.

I understand, teaching Reasoning skills has its risks: people might actually reason themselves out of the group.
But didn't Jesus say, one's enemies would be members of his/her own household?
Didn't Jesus say to expect persecution?
It's UNREASONABLE to expect everybody to toe the same line; that's what's unreasonable.

this is my first post.
i have been a protestant christian my entire life, but over the past few months ive been conversing with two jehovahs witnesses on a weekly basis.
as they quickly learned that i was biblically versed, they replaced what i would call a trainee, with someone i believe to be an elder.
You can call me a disinterested onlooker because I've been out of the organization for 35 years.

I was never disfellowshipped. Without advice or consent, the governing body of the Herndon Congregation just cut me off.
No sin, no crime, no reasons given. I never had the opportunity to meet my accusors.
Okay. I figured, Jehovah had plans for me ... something I needed to do on the outside. So I accepted it.
Now, about your claim of knowledge, I'm not buying. If you don't know the difference between the Teachings of Jesus,
son of God, versus the teachings of the Apostle Paul, who was inserted into the Bible canon 300 years later,
you haven't done your homework. And so, of course these two visitors are fascinating, because there's a lot you don't know.
Yet. Really. You have a ways to go until you KNOW Jehovah God enough to make an UNCONDITIONAL commitment to His Will.
Now the Governing Body is there to challenge you--not to dictate. I challenged THEM in 1978, and they were not able to answer.
They still haven't answered ANY of my letters. Not one.
And that deficit on their part authorizes me to go about my business, worshipping Jehovah my way, which is very similar to Their Way,
but not identical. And I'm ALLOWED to find humor in this paradoxical situation.
So, you are free to keep studying, and to find some humor in your situation as well.

they get to sloth, and immediately goto pictures of starving,diseased,dying pictures of africans?
I am acquainted, on Facebook, with a young 17-yr old orphan, who cares for his grandmother, age 89.
Since the beginning of the year, I've been helping them out, because Kassim no longer has money to go to school which is $50 a month.
His father is blind; his mother, dead; no siblings, no cousins. Food costs $120 a month.
Medicine for malaria is $20 a dose. Drinking water when there is no rain is $1 a day.
He worked for the drug store delivering packages for a while, but did not earn enough to feed both himself and Grandma.
I sent him seeds and he planted a garden; but all the plants dried up. Then the rain came down hard and the "house" washed away.
The local Christian Church doesn't care; the village Chief doesn't care; the doctor only cares about getting paid.
Now I am beginning to understand what a NON-CIVIL or UNCIVILIZED society is: it's people who don't care about other people.
Let's not be that way, is my plea and hope.

The Governing Body refuses to answer or reply to me, so I guess I'll just say outside.
YHVH is very kind, and He's my Salvation.

hello everybody.. even thinking about typing this thread as i lay here in bed at 11.30 at night, is hard enough, but i found some sort of motivation to do it.. i dont expect a massive response really, i guess all i really want to do is empty my mind out and stop things whirring over and over.. i am worried for my brother (younger brother he is 23) he is in guernsey channel islands (uk) and is in and out of intensive care drugs etc an there are a thousand more strings attached.
(drugdealers after him, homeless, jobless, about to go to prsion long story).
its a worry for me as his older brother.
With our voice --which is all we really have-- we can ask and pray for Mercy.
Do it. Ask and pray for Mercy.
Let Jehovah know you are depending on Him, as He can depend on you.
Miracles still happen.

It's amazing to me that grown up adults let others ORDER THEM, what to think, whom to relate to, when to respond.
It seems to me, each of us has spirit-contact with God Himself (YHVH), so why does any other human need to intervene?
Nobody's going to tell me what to think. It ain't gonna happen.
