Yes, I'm catching up. I'm slow, always was slow to catch on.
And the reason this is confusing for me is that being a JW was NEVER for me, about "knowledge."
It was about where my loyalties went, which is more about "feelings" than knowledge.

Ohh. I figured out the scoring system. JRK rates himself a 2.5 on a scale of 10, how knowledgeable he was.
I figure, that doesn't matter at all.

Their group-process becomes more important to them than the outcome of logic or reason.
All we can do for them is pray, that Truth is allowed to straighten them out.

of course, it's always blatant, but the manner that was used in this article was so authoritative and demanding - it's apparent the wt society is losing members and they are amping up the control tactics to keep members trapped.

Yes, the outcome was known EVEN before the Watchtower ever wrote its articles.

I'll never forget SISTER Barbara Condon. She was so faithful; she came to my house for a whole year.
1964-1965.
She never asked for anything. All she ever seemed to want to do was get me to know Jehovah.
And I complied, happily. She BECAME my sister, ever after.
