So, anytime we send a Thank You card to anyone, is that worship too? These cards are an acknowledgement to our parents for all they do, and all the times they have put themselves last in the interests of their children.

For those without mothers
by Lady Lee inmothers day can bring up many issues for some of us.
for some their mothers have passed away and the opportunity to say i love you in person is forever lost.. for others our mothers are lost to the borg.
in fact, we may never have had the opportunity to celebrate a mother's day with them.

I lost a part of my mother due to a man made (dis)organized religion. I know she loved me but, she bought into a belief that told her that she must choose their way or she and her children were doomed. I lost her entirely from this life due to death. Last night I cried as I went through Mother's Day cards in the store as it again echos the loss that I feel. The memories of her death have finally become memories of her voice, and her life. They say time heals all wounds, but I'll tell you, it sure leaves one hell of a scar.
Big hugs to all of you who because of a religion, or because of death, or because of circumstances beyond their control have no mother.

My dear wife

i was so happy that over 80 people sent us public and private e-mails.
some sent flowers and one person sent a gift.

Sad News for Ignored One - wont be posting for a while !
by mattnoel inok so it is his anniversary for one year in the forum today.
this morning he got up to find his house rabbit oscar was flopped on the floor, so he took him to the vets but before he got there it had died.
he had the rabbit for 3 years, you know how you get attatched to cats and dogs, well this is the same.

Daughter counselled on dating a wordly guy
by minimus inmy daughter recieved this email from one of her witness "friends".
she is counseling my daughter (indirectly) about her choice to date a "worldly" guy.. hey, so, we had a talk recently that was about love & respect in your marriage.
the brother brought out that this was more for us witnesses rather than worldly people, because it seems that even in the truth now marriage has lost it's correct place.

It sounds like your daughter's so called friend is more interested in playing judge, then acting as a friend. She even admitted that she has walked away from many that she thought was close to because she didn't approve of them (more conditional love). She is giving ultimatums and can't understand why she can't keep friends? Drop the "friend", and see how the boyfriend works out.

A real scam, Sam Goody sold my credit card number.

Rachel, I had the same thing happen when we ordered from Tiger Direct, they started a subscription for PC magazine, I called my credit card company and they had the charge cancelled. I didn't even receive a letter telling me what was going to happen.
